Everything was delicious and waitress was attentive and nice. Place is really small, we were a party of 7 and waitress had to move a couple that was already seated in order to accommodate us. Other than that, really good. Will definitely recommend.

Fresh food, I loved the fish dishes. It is more of a homemade food. I recommend to go with your friends to share more dishes and have a great time . Good job ?

I was in town from Tampa and I came several 7+ years ago to this restaurant which I remember being good . However the experience I had for lunch service today was terrible. I am 100% Peruvian and know/ make these dishes. The food and service were terrible. The causa de pollo seemed to be from several days ago. It’s a tiny tiny serving which I took 2 bites from. My girlfriend had papa la huancaina and didnt taste authentic. More like it has been there from several days in the fridge and we are going to serve it you. Manager said I had to pay 50% since I ate half. Mind you I ate two bites and my girlfriend ate one potato slice out of the 5 tiny sliced pieces of potato. It’s definitely a kiddie size appetizer. The teenage boy waiter didn’t ask us how the food was. We were gonna order more food. Good thing we didn’t. He handed us the check and walked back. I’m like hold on we didn’t like the food. He says I’ll go get the manager. Manager comes we tell her, tells me about the charge and says no one has complained about that dish. She told the chef and she herself tasted it. I asked her myself if she was Peruvian. I am very disappointed, will not be going back there again. I should have walked out and just paid for my soda in cash. I’m not a person that gets into it with another and said no I’m not paying for this food. I paid my 50% charge cause apparently we ate half of the food. After we left I called my credit card company to take off the charge which is taken care of. Better food in Tampa for sure. My hotel was south closer to home and I traveled out of my way north to come to this restaurant, not worth it. Worst of all, I came with my partner who I have been telling to try Peruvian cuisine and this was a bad experience.

I love this place 100%. The food was awesome, especially the calamari. The food took about 15 minutes to make, which is very fast for fresh food. The only thing is that the drinks cost a lot and they add a tip without letting you know. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you are on a high budget

The food here is amazing amazing amazing. The service as well. Their house wine is great and the chicha juice. I would have given it five stars but we went around 1-2 pm and they didn’t have anymore house sauce which is their aji sauce. I find it weird that a restaurant wouldn’t have their specialty sauce and said they were making anymore for the day

First time eating here, and was very pleased with the atmosphere, food quality and service. The food had so much flavor making it so delicious, service was fast and on point and the setting was romantic, a nice dark setting with music playing. We went on a Saturday around 7pm and was not busy. The location sucks for them. Because with how great of experience we had I felt they needed to be well seen. GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY !!!! MUY BUENO !

Buena atención y exquisita comida, platos variados!!

Just incredible food! My husband is Peruvian and this is *the* place we go to for delicious Peruvian food. Even has his fav ice cream from back home. Highly recommend!

Food is amazing, good portions at reasonable prices and decent service.Would give 5 stars if the music wasn't so loud.

I love this place! You can count on really helpful, and friendly service. They have a large menu full of options. So feel free to ask your server for suggestions. This is a not a large space, but seats just enough. My go to is their Arroz con Mariscos (seafood rice), but I also love their Chaufa Arroz (Asian flavor rice). I am super picky when it comes to eating rice, but there is something about Peruvian rice dishes that I cannot describe. Absolutely fantastic, please just try for yourself. Also, their ceviche is full of flavor perfection, and is a large portion. Oh yeah, can't forget about the Causa, if you like potatoes, room temperature or cold, a Causa dish may possibly blow your mind. Another Peruvian creation full of unexpected flavors.Overall, I highly recommend Taste of Peru. Their quality of food and generous portions are outstanding. Such a wonderful local restaurant to support.
