Great food

I took my husband for Father’s Day to the restaurant as a surprise. He had been craving for Indian food and wasn’t aware of a good restaurant in the area. I found this one and decided to try it. The restaurant is inside the Clarion Hotel and it is simple and very nicely decorated. They actually serve, not only Indian but Chinese and Thai dishes as well. The sever came right away and was very pleasant and attentive. We started with appetizers. My husband ordered Chili paneer fish, which consisted of Asian sea bass, Chinese chili garlic sauce, onions, and bell peppers. It was delicious. It had a sweet but lightly spicy taste, which combined with the onions, pepper pieces, and the fish created an awesome experience in the palate. I had Palak chaat, which consisted of air fried spinach with a touch of sweet yogurt, ginger, and an amazing tamarind mint chutney that was to die for. The flavors exploded in your mouth. For our main dishes, my husband had the junglee lal mass lamb with garlic tomato sauce. The dish is spicy, so if you can handle that, it is a very good flavorful dish. I had the Tabla’s style homemade lamb curry. This dish builds up some spicy sensation as you eat it, but it is amazing. I mixed it with their basmati rice, which is long grained, and the meat and the curry flavors and other spices filled my mouth with pleasure. We really enjoyed this place and will be back. I loved the spices in the food and how they are prepared and presented. They didn’t have the wine I requested, but they had others to choose from and it ended up been a good choice.

Worst Indian food I’ve ever had. Used to be really good previously but this time was awful. Service was terrible as well as the food.

Amazing taste & fabulous service ??

Arrival and seating experience poor. Food above average. Service inexperienced but Ok. Interior decor modern and nice.

i like the indo chinese options there and the go i manchurian is good. manali was very nice and welcoming too!

Total FAIL!!!! Horrible Service, Mediocre Food, charged us for a delivery that was not provided. Good service is determined by how the staff handles things when things have gone wrong and what they do to correct it… Called restaurant to place a take out order and was told to use online ordering and delivery thru ZUPPLER. Okay! Ordered for delivery online through ZUPPLER per restaurant’s instructions. An hour after the order was placed, we get a message from their chosen delivery service that our order has been modified and to contact the restaurant. Called the restaurant, they said they are running behind and the food will be late a bit. Ok no worries! Then, Got a message that their delivery service that ZUPPLER outsourced our food to DoorDash! And that our delivery was canceled. Called the restaurant & that was no help. Their manager told me to use google and figure it out myself!!!! He told me to call the delivery and tell them that the food will be ready soon and they can come get it…. When I said, I have never had to do that… he said then “you figure out the delivery”. He kept repeating.. “ we have nothing to do With it” like they had been taught to say that! Found their delivery service. Who were less help than the restaurant. They couldn’t put me on hold and figure out what was happening. They said their phones didn’t allow that. So they had to call me back! After Dealing with incompetence for two hours & after dealing with a staff at the restaurant who knows nothing, being hung up on several times…. we had to get an Uber to get our food! Which was cold by the time we got it! And they never refunded the delivery money or the driver tip!!! Not to mention that they decided to discuss our situation in a native language. “Just tell her food is ready and just hang up on her” Shocking to them that they were on speaker and someone in our party spoke that language and called them out on it. Ridiculously horrible service and no help at all!

When one dish came, we had no plates or forks to eat. We waited for the plates for like 5-10 minutes. In the meantime , the dish got cold. Taste wasn’t really good

Poor server we did not get what we ordered, 45 min wait for meal. We were given cold plates then 20mins later given cold rice in stainless dishes, meal was bland. We ordered poppadoms and reminded the server half way through the meal, he forgot again and brought them out as we were leaving. As a good will gesture he offered us them free as we were walking out, we declined. Very poor restaurant.

Service was super slow. We waited 45 minutes after we finished eating for a check and containers. Ask 6 times for togo containers. Food isnt tradtional indian flavor. Most had a trini accent, dont know if the cooks are from trini. Everything was salty. We order chili fish.. salty and ok, lamb chops and tandoori chicken.. no flavor of tandoor, salty and tasted like shan mix for seasoning, not good. Lamb biriyani was ok, chicken tikka masala had a different flavor again ok sag paneer was ok. The best thing was the naan, light and fluffy. Place was busy which maid me wonder why the food wasnt that good but maybe everyone else is used to this flavor. Service was the worst.
