Atmosphere: A stroll back to Japan! This place reminds me of a local restaurant around Japan, the atmosphere, the people (Including customers), the food are all part of the Japanese culture!Food: The food is very affordable and worth for those who are trying to save. I had a skirt steak, along with Susuru Gohan mini bowl (Highly recommend) my friends had the chicken Karaage which reminds me of a chicharrón for those Spanish folks out there along with Mentiako fries and a few more orders that were all phenomenal!Service: Couldn’t ask for a better service, the host sat us immediately, the waiter was very nice, gave us recommendations which was very helpful for first time customers.Verdict: You cannot go wrong with this place if you’re looking for any Asian cuisine. It’s delicious, inexpensive and a great place to come with family or friends. The water does have an odd taste to it for those picky water drinkers however you get what you pay for (in this case, free water) but overall fantastic!

We're so hungry after our day at the water park. We decided to pick a Japanese restaurant that was close to our hotel. We didn't realize it was a popular restaurant. After we checked in with the host there were six other parties also checking in. We ordered two rounds of beef yakitori and they were really good. Ramen is just so so but I am being biased having tried

The atmosphere is amazing and the food delicious! Great service as well, very friendly and attentive. This place is popular, but they don’t take reservations so be prepared to wait at least one hour. There are other things to do nearby, my friends and I went to drink something and play pool during our two hours wait, so we didn’t even feel the wait

This place is popular. They don’t take reservations, so we waited for about 50 minutes. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and yakitori. Standouts were the karaage, king oyster mushroom tempura, pork belly, natto lotus chips, tako wasa (raw octopus), chicken heart. The ramen were flavorful but a bit salty - we had the black tonkotsu, mi-so-hot.Service was good. Attentive and always filling our water glasses.

Great food we absolutely enjoyed it!! I would recommend it to everyone!!Great service very friendly!!

Awesome food. Great atmosphere. Lots of fun! And while you’re waiting for your table (cause you will be) hit up player one for a cocktail and some video games!

In addition to incredibly tasty food, Susuru has a very passionate staff and a fun atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit.

3.5 star for food, 5 stars for ambiance and service. I lived in Japan for a few years and also am used to a thriving Japanese food scene in Seattle, the food here was good but bordered on salty for my tastes.Would order again: hiyayakko tofu, karaage, and all of the skewers - except the kurobuta sausage (aka the little hotdogs).Would not order again: onigiri chazuke, yuzu corn, sausage skewers. I love mentaiko typically but the chazuke broth was overly seasoned and didn't compliment the savory mentaiko (cod roe) very well. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming even though they're super busy. Definitely come right when they open. Or just wait around for one of the bar seats to open up if you have a small party.

The atmosphere here was really cool. It definitely made me feel like I was back in Japan. The food was delicious here especially the marinated egg in the ramen. Its been awhile since I've had a really good marinated egg in my ramen. The egg pretty much just melted in my mouth. The only thing I'm dinging this place is for the 2 hour wait we had to endure and there was no way to make a reservation.

The food here is delicious! Try not to come closer to night time because most of the food is sold out! The atmosphere was amazing and feels like you’re in Japan. The customer service was welcoming and very friendly! The food is very reasonable and tradition. The flavor is amazing and the rice with salted eggs was perfect for meat sticks! The dessert tasted the bitterness of matcha but the sweetness of tiramisu which is a perfect match. Recommend coming here with friends and family!
