Service has changed since we last visited so it's now a order screen and wait for your order to be shouted by a server. Menu is also reduced with less offers than previous. Food however is still good
Last visited before the pandemic hit in a different world. So much has changed for the worse, unfortunately this includes Steak 'n Shake. The menu has been dramatically culled, definitely no sign of the cheaper menus that they used to do which is a real shame. The staff were lovely and supportive but, for me, the key selling point of this place was the cost - you knew exactly what you were going to get and, quite simply, that it was not going to cost the earth. Now, post pandemic, you place your order on a machine. The food is still good but is much more expensive than it used to be. Because of that it no longer is as good value as it used to be, which is genuinely a real shame. Yet another victim of the pandemic and subsequent price rises due to various factors.
We love the food, but the ceilings wouldn’t stop leaking on us or other guests. We’ve been here a year back on our last vacation & this time it’s gone downhill on some of the upkeep, especially when a guest can’t sit in peace without water dripping on them
The burgers and fries were good and what you would expect from a S&S. I am also a big fan of ordering from a screen.Unfortunately the four shakes we ordered took an extremely long time and did not have much flavor. Numerous people were complaining and asking for refunds. Apparently there was a new person working, and wasn't trained properly before working alone.This wasted about 20 min of our time and I can't recommend this restaurant. Maybe if the shakes weren't one of their signature items, but considering it's in their name, I expect better.
BEST s&s location ever. I cant say enough great things. The restaurant was super clean and everything & everyone we encountered was an awesome experience. This location needs to be used to show other locations how it's done!food and shakes were freshly made and ready to enjoy as well.

A good place to eat. Clean restaurant, friendly staff and good food.This is located on the east side of S Apopka Vineland Road just to the north of Palm Parkway. This road is often busy due to its proximity to Disney Springs and the various businesses located along both sides of the road. My recommendation to anyone trying to visit is to become familiar with the route before you try to go. It is in a strip center with several other places. This center shares parking with the Fairfield Inn and Suites so parking may be challenging. This restaurant follows the same methodology that all the chains are doing which is to not have any servers. You enter and order off the screens just inside the door. It is a picture menu that is pretty easy to follow, and add and subtract items. After ordering you get your cups and take a seat. They will call you when your order is ready. Our order was completed within minutes of ordering. You pick the food up at the back of the restaurant. The drinks are self-serve. The restaurant floor and tables were clean and there is plenty of room between tables and booths. The food was good. The staff was friendly and the location was clean. Overall a pleasant dining experience.
Went through the drive thru and expected a normal melancholy “have a great day” but met Shannon. She had the best disposition and met her customers with a smile even through the speaker when I ordered. It was a pleasure meeting such an amazing soul. Sometimes, we as consumers go back to an establishment for the employees and not just for the food.
Nice place for a quick bite. Nice burgers and the service is awesome. Wonderful people. Can't wait to go back.
Delicious food!!I did read the reviews and I didn't experience any if the negative issues. Granted the food took longer than expected it was well worth the wait for 100% fresh well cooked delicious food.10/10
