I always visit the restaurant on East Colonial because the food is always fresh and hot. The management and their entire staff serve you with respect and much care. If they get your order wrong the management will gladly correct the issue no questions asked. My favorite burger is their garlic double pattie with cheese and I load it up with lettuce tomatoes white ring onions with extra garlic sauce. All of these extras are free! No additional charge for adding your favorite condiments ? Next time I promise to take a picture of my juicy fat mouth water burger. Yummy ?
I am so lucky to live in the area because I am addicted to their garlic cheese burgers .I love the dine in experience because I just love the 50's theam decorations. The staff is very pleasant.
Speedy service and good food. The lack of registers was a little confusing but it was hardly an issue. Great apot to stop by for a late dinner foe sure!
I love the new self service kiosk. No longer do I have to wait 10 minutes to get a refill on my beverage. I can simple get up walk over to the soda fountain and refill it myself.
Rudest store manager, or maybe he was the assistant manager. Came on June 25 and made a car hop order. Sat for 15 minutes and waited for food. Noone brought it to us, so I went in. Noone greeted me at the door, and only 2 families were dining, so it wasn't like they were slammed. I finally went to pickup counter, and a man in a long sleeve blue shirt asked what I needed. He went into the kitchen to look for my order and brought it to me, practically slinging it on the counter toward me. He barely made eye contact, didn't apologize for the delay, and went back into the kitchen and started yelling at an employee. My fries were cold and my soda was spilled in the bag,.. The only redeeming aspect of my visit was the steak burger, which tasted good. I've never been treated like this by any person in management at an establishment. He's terrible for business and I don't plan on visiting this location again ? .
Classic steak n shake flavors but I must say the changes to the restaurant since covid have made it lose so much of its touch. All the straws are paper and kinda gross. The utensils all plastic and disposable instead of metal. Ordering is all done at kiosk which messed up after I entered 5 people's orders and I had to redo them all through a worker's kiosk anyways. Still a great value and good burger though. Wish I had classic milkshake glass for dine in though.
This was my first visit in a very long time. I was surprised/disappointed that I had to order/pay at a kiosk and pick up my food at the counter. Table service was one of the things I liked about S&S. Food was good.

wasn't able to get the manager's name but he was amazing! he saw me pushing the baby's stroller and helped us with our tray to the table. he also gave my husband a free drink (after he saw us sharing one) :) food came out hot and delicious! we'll be back for sure! :) thank you SnS staff!
