Ordered from uber eats. Bag was soaking wet. Onion rings were cold and soggy. Fries cold and stale. Burgers were ok except for the brown lettuce on both. Never again.
They still have great hamburgers and fries for a good price. Food is always straight off the grill fresh and quality of meat is still great with generous amount of toppings if you desire. You might not be in and out like McD's but quality and freshness of food doesn't compare.
Staying the weekend to go to universal and decided to order online. When we got our food our fries weren't even full let alone barely halfway. Our milkshakes weren't full either, more around 3/4 full. Food was warm but having to pay for a large and get less than a medium is agitating.
I gave this restaurant two stars only because the food is half way decent. However, the 20 minute wait for my double steak burger who’s Patties are so thin, I’m surprised the cook didn’t get paper cuts. I don’t know about other Steak n’ Shakes, but the manager here informed me all too clearly that what I got was a double. Judge for yourself the picture speaks louder than words.
The food was absolutely amazing. At first I was complaining because the prices seemed a bit too high for us cheaper people but something has changed about them their food is next level, I ordered the garlic double steak burger and finished it in just 4 minutes it was that good ! Definitely worth going to if your tired of McDonald's
Not the old place. No waiters just a kiosk. Lady handed me a greasy bag with greasy napkins. Steak burger still tasty. Dont get the orings, that's where the grease came from. Only ate one as grease was running down my chin. They are going downhill.
Steak n' Shake has great tasting burgers and I like the skinny fries although they really should put some salt on them.I also suggest that they should cook the beef frankfurters a bit more and change the seasoning in the chili because it's salty and a little bitter. The shakes are thick & very sweet and I'm not really into that but they have such a variety that you'll be sure to find a flavor right up your alley. One thing, check your bag b4 you leave because they are always busy and can forget to put all of your items in the bag.
RUDEST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCEMy birthday app reward coupon did not work in our drive through order and the person at the cashier Tracy said she couldn't do anything about it, so we were going to call customer service to get help with the app. Then we saw they placed the wrong receipt on our order bag by mistake. We went into the restaurant to ask for a copy of the receipt. We told the employee at the front counter that we needed a copy of the receipt, but then Tracy comes up to us YELLING rudely "I ALREADY TOLD YOU I SCANNED THE COUPON AND IT DOESN'T WORK" before even greeting us or asking what we needed. We politely told her that we just need a copy of the receipt because they put the wrong one on the bag. She went to get the receipt and she didn't even apologize for yelling or incorrectly assuming what we needed. This is the rudest I have ever been treated as a customer and it was completely unprovoked. She started yelling before we could even say a single word. This is an issue about basic human decency and respect.
Never disappointed! Order at kiosk grab a seat and wait for your order to be called. get the app for rewards . this location doesn't have waitresses to seat you ect. I think due to covid. But still had a great time and food was delicious.
Well, I can't say the people are all that helpful and some are not all that nice. But honestly the food is pretty good and definitely inexpensive so I guess I can't really complain. Good luck trying to get a to-go box LOL, no one pays any attention to you whatsoever and you have to stand there for more than five minutes and they know darn well that you're standing there waiting for them they just don't care. If you sign up with the app they give you a free milkshake but don't really plan on actually getting that milkshake. It says to scan when you order which I did and it did not work. I went to the manager and she tried to scan it 3 times on her register, it still didn't work. Finally the head manager came over and she said next time you have to go through the drive-through to get this. I said but we're ordering food to eat here, she said yes but they don't really work in here yet. So when she scanned it, it told her that it had already been used. She actually accused me of lying and using it before. I said Miss I scanned it then the other lady scanned it that's what happened, I haven't been here. So she should have known that it had been screwed up and she should have just given me the milkshake but she didn't, instead she accused me of being a liar. That really did not sit well with me and I was thinking if we had not already ordered and paid I would honestly just leave and I don't think I will come back. Well when they brought our food I guess she saw the look on my face or maybe they heard us talking because the next thing I knew they made the milkshake and brought it out. Not the manager lady mind you, she had nothing to do with it she was going to stand her ground. So overall I guess it was a decent experience because everyone except the manager was a nice person. But I will admit the food was fresh and good and you can't beat a double cheeseburger and fries for $4 LOL. The milkshakes are excellent too by the way. Hopefully they will find some nicer managers though.
