Hidden little gem. The dining area was quaint and clean. The staff very inviting and helpful. Quaint family feel to it.I tried the hot pot along with a side of tofu. The pot was savory and magically delicious. So many yummy things going on In that bowl.I even think I've found a new favorite. The tofu was fried to utter perfection. My better half tried the bulgogi. It was seasoned well and served on a hot skillet. The assortment of toppings and their different flavors were lovely. She enjoyed it. I enjoyed the couple bites she kindly shared with me.Our server was very attentive and friendly. Our dinner was even capped with a delectable cup of cinnamon tea. That was the icing on the cake.I'll be back!
We are Korean, the food was very good. Tastes like good home-cooked food. The portions are very generous. The staff is very friendly too. The outside is unassuming but the inside is clean. If you know any Koreaboos you can go here and take pictures to flex on ‘em.
My wife and I stopped by today to try some of the Korean BBQ and other dishes. My wife is from Shenyang and grew up with a lot of Korean dishes so she craves it from time to time.We ordered the Kimchi Jun appetizer, Mul Naengmyun cold noodle dish, and for the BBQ we did the L.A. Kalbi and Buhljip Samgyupsahl. My wife also got pineapple juice to drink and I got the house brewed barley tea and a bottle of strawberry flavored soju. The appetizer was decent, but not even remotely close to spicy for us so I wouldn't pay much mind to the little chili spice indicator it was far down the heat scale, but it worked well for putting some of the banchan and meat combinations together along with the pancakes. My wife mostly had the cold noodles which were pretty good on their own and had a refreshing mild taste that seems slightly acidic. I liked them and she picked out most of the noodles. The staff were very willing to help us cook the BBQ while they weren't in a dinner rush and super busy so they first cooked the samgyupsahl as the marinade on the kalbi tends to burn (this is my 6th time having BBQ and usually the plate just gets swapped out and the customers are left to figure things out) so it was nice to have them come out season the grill with the onion, then the garlic and jalapenos before adding the meat and then cooking and cutting it up for us and turning off the stove to stop it all from burning as we ate each round.I do feel that it was pretty mild overall and only the pickled jalapenos that were with the sesame oil were actually what I would consider a hot spicy. The kimchi was tasty , but didn't burn much, the banchan that was also containing pepper and pepper paste were also very manageable. So for our experience I would definitely say it was very good and friendly service and while pricey, it's not outside what I've seen in San Diego and Minneapolis pricing, but it is cheaper in Korea and China.
Great, friendly service. They worked fast. I had their pollock fish soup called SAENGTAE-TANG, it was delicious and a very cozy soup for me to have with my rice. Their restaurant was clean and so were their bathrooms.
I was expecting to cook our meal but none the less it was good now would I come back for Korean BBQ here, NO but overall good
Not bad overall, open till 10pm so it was good for late travelers. Very authentic Korean restaurant. Foos were tasty. Menus were little pricy but it is Orlando.
Family owned restaurant that's needs to be known. Beautiful friendly faces, know how to make you feel comfortable, treats you like family. Answers any questions about the menu and helps figure out what you'd like. Thanks to our waiter. To I wish I remember your name to say how thankful we are for helping out our time at their establishment! Your Aunt makes beautiful dishes especially the kimchi!!!! Best experience I've have at any restaurant. Made me feel home.
One of the best or perhaps even the best in Orlando. Still have a few other Korean spots to hit up. But the ones I have so far could not compare. Star Korean in a league of their own. Whenever I want some real deliciousness I just come here.
Food was great. Great presentation and taste. Everything was hot as it should be. Side dishes were delicious.Only thing we didn't like was the fact that when my mother got her order wrong and the waiter was informed of the mistake. She got upset. Sighed, rolled her eyes and took the plate back. Also, FYI, for parties of 5 or more they will automatically add a 20% gratuity.
First time visiting a Korean BBQ restaurant and it did not disappoint! The staff are super friendly and take the time to explain what each meal is. The food was flavorful, (some were spicy for those that like some heat!) And served with delicious quality. It's definitely a place you want to go back to with friends. Thank you!
