The food is amazing and the taste is authentic. Their lunch buffet is amazing especially since they do a takeout option because then we always have leftovers. They raised their prices recently but it’s still not too expensive considering the quality.
My servers name was Nirnaya (but he likes to go by Nick) and his service was incredible! The food was also amazing! I can't wait to come back, as the entire experience was fantastic. Do yourself a favor, get the Butter Chicken or Lamb Rogan Josh. Ask for Nick because his service was impeccable!
If you want authentic Indian food come here! The food is very fresh and reasonably priced. Come and support a local business. You won't be disappointed.
First time in this restaurant. Delicious food, good prices and excellent service. Our waiter was very attentive and polite, always asking how the food was or if we needed something else. I will definitely come back to this restaurant ??
Just got back from spice Indian grill. They have a buffet lunch special for $12.00. I had a salad, Naan bread, basmani rice. Chicken Tikka masala and tandoori chicken. It was very very good. The place is nice n clean and the service was outstanding. If you like Indian food, this is the place for you.... highly recommend!
The biggest surprise was the appetizer BAGHARI JHINGA. Menu says it's a family recipe but does little to describe how unbelievably delicious it is!!! It consists of plump, fresh, perfectly cooked shrimp in a hearty tomato base flavored with mustard seed and curry. Outstanding! We devoured the shrimp, but there was an ample amount of the base left over so we took it home. After the next day, there was no separation, so I'm assuming very little fat or oils. We reheated the base and I ended up devouring the entire bowl as a hearty, slightly spicy tomato soup for lunch. I would certainly order this again. The CHICKEN VINDALOO was excellent. Appropriately spicy with tender chunks of chicken. We also ordered the LAMB ROGAN JOSH we ordered it moderately spicy as we like a little kick, even in the mild dishes. This was also delicious. The lamb was nice and tender, not stringy, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. Service was excellent. Although located in a strip mall near UCF, the INTERIOR is nicely appointed, clean and intimate enough for a date night or dinner with friends. Highly recommend!
We ordered takeout, and went in to pick up our food. The restaurant is nice and cozy, very clean, and the staff were courteous. Even though we were picking up food, we had to wait a little bit, but they came to offer us water while waiting. The food was delicious. Ordered a mix of entrees to get an idea on how the food is at this place. Everyone seemed to like it. Ordered extra spicy chicken, but it wasn't spicy enough, that was the only down side... LoL. The chili chicken was my favorite, followed by the Rogan Goat Josh. I will definitely be going back. ?
The only reason I am giving a POOR RATING is due to their new staff. Their food has nothing to do with the rating. They seem to have changed their staff recently and everyone is extremely rude and thoroughly u professional.1. The official closure time of their buffet is 3 pm but they refuse to seat anyone at 2:30 pm itself and this "closing" time also applies to their to-go or a la carte. Might as well revise the official closure time for everyone to 2:30 pm.2. If you come for a dine-in at 2:10 pm, they would seat you in by “setting expectations” that you need to finish your meal by 2:45 pm. And by 2:30 pm they would stop refilling any food items getting over in the buffet and also wind up food on buffet stall. Lights would be switched off indicating people to leave. So basically you pay for the buffet but won’t get to eat anything beyond 2:30 pm.This is the first Indian serving restaurant I have seen and come across which is so unprofessional and is literally ready to close its doors to its customers. And kind it, this change has just been very recent. They were very friendly and approachable people earlier. Someone in the management really needs to look at the staff and provide them some basic customer experience training on how to treat people in a humanely fashion.
Excellent luck buffet for $12.00 Lots of options vegetarian and chicken. The honey puff balls are a great way to finish lunch too! I would highly recommend and I'll be back again.
The food is really good! Once you enter the restaurant you can smell the aroma of Indian food. They have awesome varieties of curries in their buffet. I go to ucf and I am so happy that this place is near ucf.
