It's a little expensive. The meat in the Cuban sandwich tasted like it had been frozen for a long time and it didn't taste very good. Everything else is nice, organized and clean.
We tried to get a table at the IHOP down the street, and when the wait was too long, we stumbled upon Sofrito. What a gem! The food was delicious, served up quickly, and made us wonder why we would go anywhere else. Plus, the patio is lovely. Don't settle for a chain nearby in Lake Buena Vista - go here. You won't regret it!

We are not exotic eaters, but everyone in our family loved the food here. Incredibly tender pork, along with the best chicken soup that we have ever had! The outdoor seating area is a nice touch, and the service is excellent.
The food was so good, we ate at Sofrito twice during a 4-day stay in Orlando. We appreciated the friendly service and fresh hot food. You order and pay first, then you go to the table to wait for your food to be delivered. You don’t wait long. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Very family-friendly and close to Disney. They have touchless menus, a full bar, and you can order dessert and drinks from the table using the code. Get $5 off $30 with Yelp check in. Downsides: • No hot chocolate; no hot cafe mocha • All the tables were dirty. They were actively cleaning the doors and windows, and they take the trays up in a timely manner. They just need to wipe down the tables — particularly in the time of Covid. Venezuelan Empanadas $4.50 — amazingly awesome Desayuno Criollo $15.50 — excellent Nutella Empanada $3.00 — very good Guava & Nutella Waffles $9 — ok waffles, delicious guava. Cuban Pastelito would have been a better choice Cortatido $3.25 — ok Cubano $3.00 — good We will return again and again.
Service was great and the food was amazing! The Churrasco was the best we've ever had. We liked it so much that we re-arranged our plans to squeeze in another visit to Sofrito during our vacation trip. The second time we forgot to take pictures. Highly recommend this place!
Great food. We came to Orlando for the theme parks but this place is a gem. We had dinner one night and breakfast on our way out to Clearwater. The grilled garlic shrimp are delicious as was the steak and eggs. Coffee con Leche, yuca fries and arepas also fantastic. Sofritos is a great way to try a variety Latin foods. Most of all super delicious!
Had 4 people and their food was very good. My Lomo Saltado not so much. Eat chunk of beef (not strips) was not a very good. Each seemed to contain either grisle or something difficult to chew.
