Poorly managed store. Poorly run internally. Personnel management is abysmal and it shows with the product consistency, wait times and lack of crew resource management. When it first opened it was a great location and managed well but it's gone downhill over the last 12-16 months unfortunately.
I’ve had some pretty poor experiences at this particular smoothie king in the past. I decided to give it another chance today and was extremely disappointed. I ordered a medium and the cup was given to me 3/4 filled. When asked why it was not full, I was told “they are all like that”. The smoothie was runny and tasted like cough syrup. Never again!
I love Smoothie King and was glad a new location opened close by since COVID closed other Orlando area locations. But this location is ALWAYS out of ingredients!! I don't drive 15 minutes to be subjected to this type of foolishness. Inventory should be done on a weekly basis with ordering more than what you need. It's utterly ridiculous.
I go to smoothie king at least 3-4 times a week. And lately i go to order and I’m told they are understaffed, so no smoothie available. I don’t know about you all, but how many folks does it take to make a smoothie ?? Might as well just close.

while on some days it can be a bit tricky to get a smoothie quickly given the fact that they’re so good there’s always a line, But once I do get the smoothie it’s worth it. Skipping the line and placing an order online is the reason I’m giving them five stars because when I walk in to grab my smoothie from the cooler the store smells so great and I’m greeted with such good attitudes, The cleanliness of the stores are impeccable you can see it sparkle when you walk in. A+ the owner should be proud.
This place has the worst wait times. 15-20 minute wait times on most days. It’s so bad that the employees even warn you about the long wait times when ordering in the drive thru. The crazy thing is, the drive thru will be completely empty and they still tell you it’s going to be a long wait time.
This place has declined in numerous ways. The Servers attitudes are a bit much for me..I have food allergies and ask for alternatives, the young lady’s attitude should’ve been the warning for me. I’m allergic to bananas and whole milk. She put them in there anyways (Red head). The Scan of my stomach and trip to the hospital was the tell all along with the anaphylactic reaction. There’s a girl and guy team who makes it for me with no issue. The team with the red head with the 90 inch nails and the other hispanic young lady on the other hand…. Could care less. Cleaning the machines and changing sour milks would be a great way to start their shift. I wouldn’t recommend anyone go through the drive through. Emailing the owner is a blahhh…. Lake nona can do without this franchise, at this rate without change it wont last long. A mom and pop smoothie shop wouldn’t have to work very hard to compete. The way they handle food allergies is going to cost them big one day.Nothing is washed. I hope whoever owns it, steps it up. Otherwise it will cancel itself SOON. Seriously… you’re making a SMOOTHIE…ppl ask for alternatives for a reason. Tell the red head if she was trying to get me by putting my allergens in the drink, she got me. When a smoothie becomes a trip to the ER for anaphylaxis. Great Job ✊?
Took forever in the drive though, way longer than chick fl a at it’s busiest.
Not sanitary and ingredients are spoiled. Might need a health inspection.
