I had a wonderfully lovely time with my family. Though even the long booth was an inch too short for three chunky people on the same side. Surprisingly there was still table room for all our food. Our server, Emma was great! Possibly part of the reason we had enough room. She made sure we had everything we needed and did so with a smile and a great attitude. I am aware I've said great a lot in this review, but it really was! The only downside is trying to meander out of the parking lot, but that's also because they are part of some outside mall system. Anyways, if you like Smokey Bones, this is a great location. P.S, try the sausage. It was my favorite. The ribs in the bbq pit thing were probably my second fave.
Excellent food, friendly service, welcoming atmosphere, comfortable interior seating, and a spacious covered patio for outdoor dining when the weather is nice. This is one of my favorite spots to meet with friends for lunch in the Waterford Lakes area. The barbecue is of course my favorite, with iced tea brewed just right, and great sides. The skillet cornbread works great as a memorable starter, but I think it goes fine for dessert, too! :D The burgers are great, too, and they don't skimp on the portions or toppings: the meat is always perfect but also if there's lettuce, green leafy lettuce and not that flavorless iceberg stuff, the tomato slices are red and flavorful and so on. Nothing feels like any corners were cut.
The place was decent it wasn't full. I like the appetizer. It was big pretzels and it came with beer cheese sauce with chives. It was real tasty. We only had tea sweet tea. I always also have water on the side. My meal was a 9 oz sirloin, with steamed broccoli a loaded potato. It was really good and tasty. I think the waitress was a little bit overwhelmed. She had most of the tables. It took a little bit for us to get our dinner. Other than that it was a great place. Why not a lot of noise. Lot of TV so we can watch all the sports you want. I recommend it. It is a bit pricey. But what isn't these days.
Casper was our waiter for the evening and I will tell you this; I haven't received such service like this in a very long time especially feeling lately that hospitality is a dying art. We not only were given superb service, but all his knowledgeable input from the menu, WE ORDERED! Astonishingly, each recommendation given of apps, food, and dessert were delicious but even better; HOT & FRESH. We couldn't have been served by a more promising server. Not a single drink or request went unnoticed. Attentive, professional, and extremely polite and not to mention what a great sense of humor with an even better personality. This man not only deserves a bonus but perhaps even a pay raise and changed position to Server Trainer because this man could be the change of customer service if given the opportunity. Truthfully the man needs to be cloned and many can learn from his expertise. And at the end of it all, I left and after about an hour realized my phone was left behind. I repeatedly called until but nothing. Even called the restaurant and nothing. Thankfully Casper checked around anyways and was able to retrieve my phone stuck in between the booth. Although it took me about 40 minutes to have to drive back, I was greeted with a smile and the kindness of understanding how important my phone was due to sentimental family pictures and videos. So just thank you for a wonderful and memorable experience. And I hope he receives the acknowledgment that he deserves.
We enjoy the pretzel bones, pulled pork, and smoked turkey. The other food selections also look delicious when coming out of the kitchen. Don't forget to save room for the donuts for dessert.

My husband and I are very picky when it comes to BBQ but we were pleasantly surprised with how good the food was here. We had Casper as a server the first time and requested him again, as usual he was amazing and attentive! My favorite dish is definitely the Mac n Cheese with pulled pork on top! Definitely recommend to try if you haven't already!
I've been visiting this place since 2017 and my last 2 visits, being the last one on 02/15/22, weren't good. I always order babyback ribs full rack but lately they have sent a size that cannot be called a 'full rack'. And my last visit the waitress asked me how was the food and I said that could be better because the full rack size apparently is getting smaller. And then she said that's how they send to the restaurant. That's not a good explanation, that's not the answer the customer expects to hear. Solve the problem size bringing more food at the first time. And then the manager came to apologize and assume the size that I order it's not really a full-rack, and he offered me another half rack, like the last time, and I rejected the offer. Now, if he does recognize that's not the proper size for a full-rack, solve the problem before bringing and empty plate to the customer. Don't wait someone complain about it if you know something might happen. Anticipate, be proactive, be better! Anyways, I am disappointed with this restaurant and I'll visit another one for a better experience.
My wife and I went for dinner and everything was a great experience. Drinks and food was served in a timely manner. Casper was very attentive and provided excellent service with a awesome attitude. Great experience and excellent food. If you want to have Great service at smokey bones ask for Casper and I guarantee you will be treated super awesome.
This is a hit and miss lately. I've been coming to this for a long time. The food is getting worse. It was always consistently great. Come for the wings but lately they serve a mini rack (can't imagine what is a half rack). Also ordered the brisket, dry, dry. The servers are great but I come to eat not to chat with the servers.
