This place has won best Thai restaurant in Orlando for two years in a row now, according to the readers of Orlando Weekly, whom I trust very much with food recommendations. So I had to come and check this place out. It's just hanging out nonchalantly on the side of Colonial. No frills or anything on the outside. On the inside, however, is a nice, classic interior that felt very Thai to me. I've never been to Thailand, but I still got the vibe. Anyway, we got seated and started ordering fooood.Started off with the Fried Tofu (Golden battered fried tofu, served with a sweet chili sauce). The fried tofu was great! I like my tofu nice and firm, and it would have to be in order to hold up to the battering and frying process. Nice and crispy on the outside, soft, creamy tofu consistently on the inside. Served with the classic sweet chili sauce, and this was a winner.I also got my hands on the Summer Roll Shrimp. These are super fresh. The Huge, plump shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the mega crunchy lettuce inside really makes this a light, fun little app.For my main event, I chose the Pineapple Duck Curry (Crispy boneless duck, pineapple, tomato, sweet basil, bamboo, bell pepper, & eggplant in red curry cream sauce). Wow. The duck, as advertised, had very crispy skin. Veggies aplenty, with my favorite being the sweet pineapple. Of course, the make or break of this was gonna be the sauce, and yes, it is jam packed with creamy, curry-y deliciousness. I was a HUGE fan, and I do recommend this.I also got to sample the Woonsen Pad Thai (Jumbo fresh water prawns, glass noodle, bean sprout & peanut). You only get three huge prawns on this dish, so they better darn well be cooked good. And they were. It was like eating three mini-lobsters. You know what glass noodles and bean sprouts are like, so just take a bite of this, a bite of that, and this is a really fun dish, too.Overall, wow, this was great. Everything was so good and way way better than the Thai offerings that generic Asian restaurants have to offer. Find this hidden gem, and give them your patronage.

New favorite Thai place, I usually go to a place in Waterford town centerVery nice atmosphere, staff was friendlyStarted out with tulip dumplings, reminded me of shrimp balls a little texture wiseThe red curry was delicious loved the addition of eggplant - I had crispy duck on top that was so tender it almost melted in your mouth with very little fat. Good portion size, very filling.Another patron had overhead me ordering and warned me the curry could be spicy - he also mentioned seathai is his favorite thai place in Orlando and that he used to live in thailand which seemes promising! I ordered the curry mild and it was very good, I even added some extra chili oil that is brought to the table.I had a glass of bansai the plume + sake and it was very delicious, I don't have a lot of info on sake but it was very smooth and sweet like a desert wine.

The food was fantastic. We got the tulip dumplings which were really good, and summer rolls which were fresh but poorly rolled. Peanut sauce was great.I got the Smoky Pot as my main, my friends had pad see ew with crispy duck and pad thai chicken. Everyone was really happy. I got to taste the duck and it was incredible. The clay pot I got was delicious, with glass noodles, chicken, shrimp and spices that included a big cinnamon stick. I loved it!

I've been here over 30 times it's one of my favorite thai restaurants and I was told tonight I couldn't sit in a booth because they are saved for large groups. The place is empty and i've sat two people in booths numerous times so very disappointed. They were also out of numerous items like the thai wings and coconut shrimp.

I have never been here before, but it sounded good on a cold night. The table ordered soup and vegetable spring rolls. Both were fresh and flavorful. I got massaman curry, and it was the best I’d ever had!! It was so full of fresh flavors and was rich. The ambiance was simple, cute, up to date and clean. The staff was incredibly nice! I know our table kinda took a few extra minutes to order while the waitress was at our table, but the waitress was very sweet, patient was gave good suggestions. Also, price point, it was extremely reasonable. I thought because the appetizers were so low in cost, they would be small, but they were full sized and good portions. Overall this place is amazing! Would love to come back.

Their matcha and Thai tea is super delicious! Totally recommend it if you’re coming here! The appetizer is delicious, but my main course was a bit salty! They put too much sauces into the fried rice, but it was good. I recommend coming here for Thai food in Orlando because it’s such a cute, chill restaurant.

I ordered the the lunch special. 1st course, tom yum chicken soup...it tasted fine but was nothing special. Second course, green curry with pork. Pork looked grey and tasted funny. Most likely spoiled. I took 2 bites, equally awful. So I paid and left the food right there on the table. The staff asked no questions regarding why I was leaving an entire meal uneaten and was not interested in taking any home. All good. I'll never set foot in their "restaurant" again.

Sea Thai is one of my favorite places to eat in Orlando. I've been around and make it a point to rarely eat at the same restaurant over and over. So when I say that Sea Thai is the first place I think of when I want a dependable and amazingly consistent meal.I've eaten here around a dozen times now and have tried a myriad of dishes and I have yet to find something that can be described as "okay". So from having family dinners to just takeout for a night in with my wife, they are well suited for all occasions.

Driven by this place numerous times in the last 15+ years and bummed that I waited so long to try it. Nice date night spot. Both my wife and I enjoyed our meals. We started with steamed dumplings, which were tasty and a nice sized thai salad. For our entrees, I had the shrimp spicy basil noodles (pictured) and my wife had yellow curry with chicken. Both were cooked perfectly! Will def be back again.

You eat with your eyes first, and the chicken khao soi looked outstanding. I wasn’t expecting the food to look as nice as it did, and I certainly didn’t expect it to taste just as great.Very flavorful, the perfect amount of heat and spices, and still creamy at the same time! Highly recommend their khao soi!
