I used to love this place, but from couple moths from now, I had order PERNIL and they had give me OLD pernil, dry and hardThe quantity has gone downI try to give it several times a chance but the pernil is always bad…. Hopefully they start to change the quality but I don’t not recommend the pernil!!!
On 3/17/2022 I stopped in for lunch ,ordered arrows con gandules, Pollo guisado, and red beans and the food was tasty but about a hour or so I had to rush to tha rest room and all hell broke loose. I ended up in the rest room all night with, diarrhea and vomiting ? drastically.. I got food poison from the food that I ate at Sabor Del Caribe. Stay away from this place no good for you health. Beware.....Contaminated food.
Ordered from Uber Eats, at first the empanadas looked great crispy and very good size, however after 2 bites I found several small bones in the chicken( which also included potatoes and other stew vegetables , that’s a first for me and I wasn’t a fan). Immediately got turned off from the chicken empanadas and decided to try the beef empanadas, towards the middle my boyfriend found another bone and we decided that the empanadas protein was not checked well enough to keep risking it. Other than that the potato balls were okay, just wish the order would have come with sauce or pico for the empanadas etc.
Never again. I ordered vegetables, they sent me plantains. I ordered vanilla flan, they sent me queso flan. They didn’t even send me a fork. I’m in a hotel. How am I supposed to eat without a fork?

Don't order uber eats from here they gave me the wrong food it was supposed to be mofongo and i don't even know what it is also have missing items (maduros) looks nothing like pictures ! tried reaching out they don't even pick up the phone ridiculous and i'm deffinetly getting my money back
I usually come to this restaurant to get a take out and have good experiences. But yesterday was the absolute worst! The cashier (an older lady with a ton of bad makeup, excessive gold jewelry, and a botched BBL) was rude towards me for no reason at all. When I reach my hand out for the receipt she tossed it on the counter and walked away. I was in complete shock that I was being treated so poorly when I did nothing to provoke it. I will never come back to this place again and they lost a valuable customer due to their rude cashier.
This restaurant used to be good. Nice portions, great food and good prices but for the past several months the quality has changed and pricing has gone up. We ordered guineos (green bananas) with our order and they had clearly gone bad. The sour buttery smell was overwhelming.I called them upon receiving the food and was told my name would be put in a book for a future credit?Needless to say they have lost a customer.
