Fantastic placed, I went on a Tuesday night so it was pretty calm, I had the red curry hot and it was amazing perfect balance of the coconut milk and curry …What really caught me off guard was the Thai iced tea, it was like like straight from heaven, the server was super polite and consistently checking on us :)My friend have some noodles they look and taste it good according to him.All the appetizers came out so fast hot and crispy!10 out 10
We were looking for a nice sit-down Thai place with good food and we were not dissapointed! Royal Thai Cuisine had friendly staff, fast service, and DELICIOUS food! Everyone was pleased, we got drunken noodles, sweet and sour, and duck! Even got the toong thong appetizer. Everything tasted really good and if I'm ever back in Orlando craving Thai I will definitely be back here again!
I love going to this cozy neighborhood Thai restaurant. The food is delicious and authentic. The staff is very friendly and the service is very quick. The prices are very affordable. High recommended the papaya salad, Tom Yum, pad ped and pad khing. I get take-out more often than dine-in and my order is usually ready within 10-15 minutes for pickup.
It is a nice place to dine. Tables are not in close distance. You will have your own privacy. Staffs are in Thai clothes. The dresses are grand and beautiful. Food is okay and not too bad. Services are great.
The yellow curry was quite disappointing. I asked for it Thai hot but it came mild and "soupy" with very little color. The waitress asked if I wanted hot sauce which isn't a thing with curry. It was very bland and the portion size was small. There was protein on top but very little protein overall because it was on top of large potato pieces. When we were seated we sat for around 15 minutes before we got our drinks and joked that we were exiled. We saw larger tables that showed up after us that were served before us. Especially for the price we won't be back.
Food looks great and would loved to have tried it. We were seated with water and 25 minutes later no one had been back to table at all. Even after making eye contact numerous times. Finally thanked for water and left. They acted like they didn't even care. I work in industry and know staffing is tough but not even acknowledging customers is ridiculous.
Royal Thai is a staple of Orlando. It has been part of the community for many years and I have been eating here for over 25 years. It was my first time trying Thai food and it was an explosion of flavor in my mouth that I had never experienced before. Everything about this place is great. The service is prompt and polite. The desserts are superb especially the mango with black sticky rice. The Potak soup is light and scrumptious with crunchy celery. Any duck dish is excellent especially the Ginger Duck. All rice dish or noodle dish will meet your expectations. The Thai tea is refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. The fried fresh fish is cooked to perfection and decorated nicely. I take all my out of town family there and it has been the best Thai food we have ever had. Go ahead and enjoy.
Great Food! Very clean restaurant. Friendly service! My husband and I will return. The presentation of the dishes are beautiful. The favors of the foods remind us of Thailand, no heavy seasoning or overwhelming spices. The balance of veggies, rice, and meats are balanced.
There was hair in the soup; extremely disappointed and frustrated with our order. We won’t be coming back or getting pick up again.
Clean, friendly and welcoming. Pleasant atmosphere. Good food including noodle and rice dishes, soups and various levels of heat. My favorite Tom Yum in the area.
