We had the worst experience with the food here! Our appetizer were fine and quick. However when our main courses came they were horrible. My husband had a steak that come with a runny egg and both the steak and egg were overdone. He asked for Cesar salad they got him house salad and the waiter was like that’s how it comes Cesar is extra. This should of informed us when the order was placed not replace without been told! I order rice and a breaded steak and it seem like they scape the bottom of the rice pot it was hard and clumpy. The steak was cold but burned. We couldn’t finish and when they asked how it everything we told them to please get us the check and informed them how the food was. They blame the kitchen and then the waiter and then said you should of returned the food they were rude about it and then said we were busy it was end of the night it is what it is have a good night. Not worth the money! We didn’t asked for money back or credited we literally wanted them to know the food was not good and got a accusatory tone and bad attitudes.
Excelente comida latina y buen servicio. Los precios son bastante decentes. Definitivamente una buena opción para comer auténticos platos latinos en Orlando. Excellent Latin food and good service. The prices are quite decent. Definitely a good option to eat authentic Latin dishes in Orlando.
The food here was quite good. Even the service was decent. The waitresses needed to be a little better trained. We were seated and immediately asked if we'd like to order, without a second to look at the menu...Then she disappeared for the next 15 minutes. Not horrible. . . just lacking any kind of real training or polish! Not her fault; managements.
Venezuelan food was something new for us. It is not like Mexican or Cuban. Generous portion sizes. The waiter, Eloy, was extremely helpful. We got an order of Tequeno as an appetizer and ordered the Arepa R Peplada and the Mushroom Chicken. Beautiful presentation and even better flavor. Definitely will return.
Don’t let the fact that this point is in a strip mall fool you. This place is crazy authentic Latin American food. Delicious, good service, decent pricing. If this is what you’re looking for and you go, give me a helpful vote!
The food was absolutely amazing. Go for the arepas. Family owned and a total gem of a find around the Orlando area (where there are so many bland chain restaurants)! We’ve had Gio as our server twice and LOVED him. He recommended the best dishes both times we came.Happy Hour is great as well! 10a to 8p with draft beer $3, wine $4, sangria $6, etc.
My partner and I were in the area for vacation and wanted to try a local Latino restaurant. I had no experience with food from Venezuela and when I told our waitress she went out of her way to explain, make recommendations, and make sure that we were enjoying our food. The portions were very big and delicious! The cachapa was my favorite! I will definitely be back when we’re in the area again.
We LOVE this place. The food is amazing and the service is outstanding. We grab the three most popular items abs all four of us share. The kids love it and my husband enjoys the flavors. It is a must find with in Orlando.
While vacationing in Orlando, my wife and I stopped at Q’Kennan referred by a local. We were very pleased with the food and service. Antonella our server was extremely helpful and always on top of everything. We had the chupe de pollo, arepitas and pabellón. Ohhh and Venezuelan Malta... It’s so nice to see small restauranteurs having such a great success. Thank you so much for a great experience.
We stayed at the Hilton resort across the street (tuscany village) and were looking for somewhere close by to have dinner. A couple at our resort had mentioned Q'Kenan and they had nothing but good things to say. It's in a strip mall with a Starbucks and a Publix. Very convenient. We sat outside. Our waitress, Antonella, was great! Very sweet and helpful. The empanadas OMG the empanadas. We had the beef, cheese, and pabellon between us and pabellon was our favorite. We also ended up sharing a pabellon arepa. I got the Q'Kenan bowl for my meal and absolutely loved it. Blueberry mojitos also delish (but very sweet). I can't wait to come back to Orlando just so I can come here again!
