We ate from this restaurant today. I have to say I was very disappointed. There were so many MISSING MENU items. I use to love this place, but the quality of service and food has deteriorated. The chicken was dry and bland and the service was Sub par. I used to love this place when I was in college. However, since then they have expanded their menu, but the food they are known for is mediocre (rice, beans and chicken.) I hope the quality of the food and service was just a HIT & MISS today(but I have a feeling, it was not.)
Food is Good but costumer Service ??. They need to improve or change management. to the point that they don't have napkins for costumers/ hand paper on bathrooms , plus they get mad at you when tell them that your order is incomplete or wrong?? You're paying not begging....At least on west palm beach are way better as I recall.....
If using uber to deliver, you never know what you will get. We’ve ordered 3 times and never received what we ordered. Switching out meats….leaving off the beans and rice but charging the same price…sauces haven’t been included yet….I’ve still not got to taste this great bbq sauce I’ve been hearing about. I’m sitting here eating chicken and pulled pork…dry…without any sauce and only a roll as carbs…no beans or rice. But what I have is delicious! And yes, We tipped well.
I ate at this restaurant back-to-back in April 2022. Kim was the cashier, and she was cool. I had the chicken bowl, then the two breast with beans and rice. Ask for the Avocado sauce. I will be back!
Went to buy some food after a long day at the water park, payed gat my bag and drove home. When a sat the the family at the table noticed that the didn't give me the chicken. Called about 5 times no one answer the phone. Was about to head to the store, wich is 40 min from mi house but a storm passed by. Went the next day to complain about the situation and the manager told me I was my job to check my bag before leaving the store. I understand her point but it's not my job to make sure your staff is doing their job is your responsibility, she ended giving me the meal, but thats what happenes when young irresponsible people run a store. Food not was it used to be , dry chicken the rice was very sticky like sushi rice and the beans very watery. In fact a total mess. Thanks for the poor customer service . Store is located at vista dr before the premium outlets.
Ordered a whole chicken dinner with an extra side of black beans and rice. Got home, no extra side of rice. That had no plates for take out orders. Cashier gave me no receipt. No Apple Pay accepted at the drive through window. Call the store 6 times and no answer during business hours.
Poor customer service… food good like always, but look like the shift manager is punching the crew to do not sale more before close.. was approximately 9:10 pm and that said no more food.. the lady on charge (probably manager) fight with the cashier because he still selling… no sauces, no drinks, no lemonade… sadly a but experience

Service and cleanliness is always questionable at this location but I wanted to give them another chance as their food is solid. However, they were out of all of their sauces we ordered and some of the toppings but still allowed you to order them at the counter. When we got our orders 25 minutes later, there was no “hey we didn’t have the sauces and toppings you ordered but we have such and such. Which would you like?.” Instead, we noticed once we got to the table and had to go back up to the counter to ask why the meals were not correctly fulfilled. Being proactive and making sure the cashier knows what is and isn’t on the menu in real time or having the expo person check tickets and informing guests as they get their food would be better experiences then having the guest initiate everything themselves.
Delicious Chicken ? with rice black beans & avocado. Reasonable price dinner for 3 or 4 under $30.00 ??
