The manager of this location should be ashamed of herself. Such a cheap-skate! She must purposely instruct her employees too, to jip customers in order to save the store money. You can guarantee missing items in your meal...not just missing from the bag, but missing from the actual meals themselves....for example you order chicken with rice, beans, corn, onions etc but then when you open the container there's nothing but chicken! That's how ludicrous it's gotten. I'm not about to miss out on Pollo Tropical by refusing to return, especially since nobody cares about losing customers anyways. I guess I need to open up the bag (which is always tied in order to discourage customers from checking) and literally inspect every single container...and just accept the nasty attitude I'll receive for having the audacity to suggest that they did something wrong. Ive been eating Pollo for 20 plus years, not about to let one loser of a person ruin that for me....which is why I have gone straight over her head this time. I look forward to meeting Pollo Tropical's NEW manager soon!
I was the first customer this morning , they opened on time , fresh food , and CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS ON TEN ?⭐️⭐️.Told them all they’re doing a phenomenal job !!!
Went inside on May 2nd, 2022, Order #139 @ 12:41pm, just to order The chicken Tropicana lunch and Tostones. Was over charged for the lunch and was greeted by Ms. Labady (CASHIER). Not even a hello. She was rude, appeared to be upset just by looking at her facial expressions. Waited for about 15 minutes, asked her for salt and waited for about 4 minutes just for the salt, then asked her if I could get the sauce for the tostones and that was another 3 minutes. She gave me one which was not the one I had asked for.. Didn't even get napkins. By the time I got to the table the food was cold. Will never go there again. Employees like her should not be working with the public!
Sad to say, came to get lunch for myself and my co-workers and when I say 5 out of the 5 orders where wrong. My Cubans were not correct , no sauce no potato sticks when I asked for EXTRA. My other two co workers, One received NO sauce NO sauce and everything being wrong. 2nd being old avocado and again the entire order incorrect. I even gave the CSR/MGR the written order and it was still all wrong. As I submit this review my co-worker is on her way to the location for a refund unfortunately my lunch break is over and do not have time to go back right now. I understand mistakes happen but 5 out of 5 orders like that just makes no sense what so ever. Please be mindful when ordering from this location to CHECK your food (even when you SHOULD NOT have to) Be also mindful to insure that they actually have the sauce or dressing. Wont be returning.
Service is great, food is good at a fair price. I eat lunch here everyday. Only complaint is that their sauce options are inconsistent, sometimes they have spicy poyo poyo sometimes they don't. Not a show stopper but, seems to be a weird thing given they are a chain.
Waited forever in drive through and once I reached up to the window one of the workers yelled at me because I wanted to add on two more items. She looked like a gremlin from Cucamonga!!! ? As if it was her own restaurant. SMH...... The food was ok but poor customer service. Where's the manager please!?! They need to have weekly customer service meetings. She was lucky that I'm a long suffering princess. ?
I usually have a decent experience here but tonight was an absolute joke. It’s the middle of dinner rush and they tell me there’s a 25 minute wait on chicken. I don’t understand how there is that much delay for the main thing your restaurant sells.
I haven't been to Pollo Tropical in over 2 years and the service was better there was 7 employees in the store and I went in to order something for dinner. All the employees was doing was socializing another employee arrived and they stopped in ordering to hug everyone and catch up instead of serving the customers they have even drive through was slow as hell. They didn't have any enthusiasm or energy maybe they should find employees who want to work and get rid of the riff raff that's giving bad customer service the management wasn't attempting to do anything about it with all those employees someone should of been cleaning the lobby. Sincerely a dissatisfied customer who was trying to buy dinner and spend some money.
This is still one of the best pollo tropical stores in central Florida..and great staff waiting on your needs... Chicken cooked properly and fresh...go for some lessons mall of millennium store..serving that old chicken and charging heavy prices for it
If I could put 0 stars I would why have hours displayed if you’re not going to go by them. It clearly states on website and door that y’all are open until 11. Got there at 10 and they say they are closed.
