Service was impeccable and the food was very yummy. We are lomo saltado snobs. Platter was a great way to try a lot of different things. Lychee martini is a must-have.
I heard bad reviews of this place, but when I visited, I had a good time! My family was seated immediately: however, we were not greeted as fast. The TVs were playing music videos with Karol G, Marc Anthony, J-Lo, and all the Latinos. We finally heard from our server. He was nice, but we had to remind him of my sister’s Postabon. We ordered starters and just off those we were full! I had Arepa & pork belly. For my entree I got mix ceviche. YUMMMMMMM! My daughter got calamari and it was huge.I would return just for the ceviche!
Have been going to pio pio since it was a little corner spot in the strip mall across the street. Food has always been delicious and the staff very friendly. I've had family get togethers here as well as a simple lunch with a friend. Highly recommend if you want the best of both Colombian and Peruvian cuisine.
The only good thing was the drinks at the bar, waited 50 minutes for the table and hour and ten for the food, steak was tasteless and pay attention to the receipt and the auto gratification. Overall a really bad experience.
Excellent place for dinning in. Great service, employee very friendly and outgoing personality. The food was hot and well prepared. The waiting time, however, was long, waiting for order was long, appetizers came about 30 minutes late. The place is great but I believe that is a bit disorganized . They were running up and down and at times looked confused. Again, great place to eat!!
The food was great and the service was goodThanks Diego for good service ??
Unfortunately the worst service ever. I stopped by 2/28/22 to eat with the family. They weren't busy at all however we ended up leaving without eating. Our waitress took about 10 min to greet us took our drink order and appetizer and 20 min later we still not gotten drinks or appetizer. We ended up leaving.
If you want some delicious latin fare to share with the family, this is the place. The staff is amazing, the flavor is on point, and the professionalism is refreshing. We ordered over the phone, and made a choice that didn't make much sense, but they took my order. I got a call from the cook 5 minutes later, to confirm my choice and make recommendations. I honestly made a mistake and I am so grateful they reached out! Colombians and Venezuelans, this flavor will take you back home.
We came here after waiting over an hour at Oh Que Bueno, who couldn’t handle a large party. Pío Pío was just as busy, but they gave us a decent wait time and seated us within that time. They were gracious and hard working. We really enjoyed the ambiance and the food was excellent! We only had one waiter for such a large party, yet he was able to handle all of our orders in a timely manner. I could tell he also had other tables, as they didn’t have too many workers. They are definitely the best Colombian and Peruvian restaurant in town at the moment. I highly recommend trying them out. Oh Que Bueno is not the only place in town for an amazing bandeja paisa or arepa con queso. Do yourself a favor, save yourself a headache, give you taste buds a party, and come to Pio Pio!
The chicken is definitely the star of the restaurant! The green sauce was really good but very hot/spicy & the white garlic sauce was our favourite that we used for dipping everything in. Was able to order just the chicken without all the wasted sides (rice, beans, plantains). Fruit juices were blended but didn’t have a lot of flavor.
