The bar manager Mia is incredible! She is extremely welcoming and very knowledgeable. We make an effort to come see her almost weekly.Eric, the sushi chef, is so kind and friendly. He is fun to watch prepare food and answers all my random questions.Great food- the stir fry is to die for. And their happy hour menu is 10/10. Happy Hour is from 5-7pm!
Very posh interior, relaxing music sets a calm ambiance - was absolutely perfect escape for me in the middle of a hectic work day.Gyoza and Spring Rolls for appetizers - good, above average on flavor, normal appetizers on par with similar styled restaurants.Hi-5 Sushi Roll - Delicious, mid to high level of spice, very nice kick at the end of each bite.Pineapple Fried Rice - Literally served inside a half of a pineapple. Was a fun surprise, didn't expect that. Fried Rice itself was delicious, eggs and meat were cooked perfectly and the pineapple chunks were sweet and perfectly ripe.
nice thai food and near park
My husband and I visited for our anniversary. The service and food was great! We were sat away from the busy part of the restaurant for a more private meal which was wonderful. We ordered happy hour drinks (lychee martini and a thai beer) and sushi for appetizers. I had the shrimp pad thai, which was delicious! My husband did the create-a-ramen-bowl and had beef with thai hot and sour broth. We wanted to take the broth home, it was so good!
My wife and I come here at least once a month. We absolutely love the food , service and atmosphere. Don't matter if it's a date night or a night out with friends. This is a good spot to eat anytime.
We came to try a nearby restaurant, but it was packed, so we tried Oudom just down the street. When we entered, there were only two people in the dining area, which gave us pause. However, the reviews were good, so we decided to give it a try. Now we understand why it was nearly empty. In sum, the food was OK, soup good, calamari mostly greasy breading, while the service remained clueless throughout. There was no set-up on the table when we sat down. When the food came, we had to call the waitress back for set-ups. The set-up consisted of one fork rolled in a napkin, no knife, no chopsticks. A person at the nearby table actually got up to get their own chopsticks at the service cabinet. We started and ended with wine and a couple of appetizers. The waitress never came by to ask how we were doing or if we wanted anything else. We decided to end our meal with that. On the way out, no one asked if we enjoyed our meal. Now we understand why it remained nearly empty, even at 5:30pm on a beautiful Saturday in a bustling downtown Orlando. Certainly not terrible, but the place lacks personality, with average food and clueless service. Lesson learned.
It was my first time in this restaurant and my experience was magnificent. Recommended!
Great food, but the service is and has been HORRIBLE for a while. It takes forever to get food and drinks (I ordered a second drink before my dinner came and they finally brought it to me with my check AFTER dinner and waiting for the check). They have also gotten my to go order messed up multiple times, including today when they forgot my spicy mayo and gave me the wrong roll. Oh, and the hostess brought me a random iced tea as compensation. Really? Two weeks ago my avocado roll was hard as a rock. Honestly it’s such a shame because the food is amazing usually and I still go frequently, but the service has never been good. It’s so frustrating. I hope they can get their act together.
I ordered a sushi sashimi combo, and a mint julep. The drink tasted like straight vodka - NOTHING ELSE. The food was okay, but the service was horrible. It was not busy, and the waiter only came to take my order, and deliver my food. Never came back to check on the table. I had to hound for my check.
Enjoyed a nice meal at an outdoor table. Outdoor patio was very large for downtown Orlando, service was prompt and food was delicious. With a 5-7 daily happy hour, we were pleasantly surprised by the happy hour menu. Drinks were great and spring rolls were spot on. Sushi was also well prepared and tasty. The curry was offered in mild, medium and hot options. Not liking too much heat, I chose medium, which to my taste buds was quite mild. I think I'll go for the hot next time, however food was otherwise great. I cannot wait to try some more of their dishes next time.
