Worst Citywalk Experience by far. We ordered the pretzel for my son and it came after like 5 minutes so we were excited to have a great meal. It was 55 minutes between that pretzel and our entrees. I don't blame our server because we probably had 5 cokes and sweet teas in that time. What crazy meal took 55 minutes? A turkey sandwich and fish tacos. The tacos were ok, the turkey sandwich was horrible, cold cut lunch meat on three slices of bread with turkey between two slices and tomato/lettuce between the other. Just awful, and it was $16. Unfortunately we won't come back to this one as Panda Express is a much better meal and way cheaper.
the food here was unreal! came here with my family after looking for somewhere to eat on city walk and decided to go here. For starter we had the onion rings which were so so good and the portion was massive. I ordered the pulled pork burger and wow, this was one of the best meals i had in orlando. However, my mum and step dad had cooked BBQ chicken and both werent impressed with it- I however loved mines. The theming of this restauraunt is super nice inside, service was a bit slow however the food made up for it
Average food and service was slow. Had to run down our own silverware. Portions were on the small side. We were never offered refills on drinks. Unsure if I’d return.
We have been visiting NBC regularly over the years when at universal studios and always enjoyed the service and the food. This is our first visit since the pandemic and we were shocked at the decline. Service was awful, food was sub standard and the portions pathetic. They have managed to raise prices while reducing the drink and food portions. The warning signs were there when we walked in. Waited a while to spoken to by our server who grunted at us when we said we didn’t realise it was a digital menu. We ordered 3 drinks, a coke no ice , a sprite and a beer. What came was a water, a watered down coke clearly topped with soda water due to asking for no ice and a small beer. The beer used to come in a NBC glass but now comes in a pathetic small effort that must only hold about 10 oz. When the food came my daughters chicken wings were cold and there was only about 5 small portions which contained hardly any chicken. My wife’s burger was tiny and the tater tots were just a crispy shell with nothing inside. Clearly cheap frozen ones. My ribs were ok although drier than the Sahara desert. There was also no knives at the the table so I had to wait over 5 minutes to get our server and wait a few minutes more to get a knife. We eventually asked a chef walking by for a knife and he was able to locate one quicker than the server! The server spoke to us on 3 occasions, to grunt at us over the menu, to correct the drink order and to get me a knife. Each occasion she was rude and looked like she would rather have been elsewhere. We 100% won’t be back which is a shame as we used to enjoy NBC so much. I’m still angry at myself for paying the bill in full.
Food here is standard bar fare. We had wings, cheese curds and ribs. Ribs were okay, needed more sauce, wings were decent but didn’t have a lot of meat. Cheese curds were pretty good. Overall this is a good place for some bar food and cold beer.
A good selection of dishes. Our order had issues, but overall it was good. Burgers were overcooked as well as chicken tenders for kids. Had to send back and order something else. The adults burgers were good as well as the nachos and pretzel apps. Server was great and replaced the items we had issues with and did not charge us for them. I would order one step lower than typical doneness to get the cook on the burger you want.
Service was super nice and put together, but absolutely can't go above a 3 for the food I received. The side Ceasar salad had more dressing on it than my Buffalo wings had sauce, and the brisket plate comes with only 2 slices (thick too, which isn't preferable for brisket).
We went for dinner Thursday evening with 2 other families. The only positive was that our table was ready when we arrived. From the moment we walked in, the floor was greasy and very slick. $5 sodas came out without lids or straws in a paper cup. We were told that guests gave to ask for straws and lids. Napkin included a fork only. When my chicken came out, I had no knife to cut it with and had to ask for that. My food already came out Luke warm and by the time I got a knife, it was completely cold. My daughter ordered kids chicken fingers and when they brought the food out it was an adult platter. I questioned it and I was told not to worry about it, consider it extra food. They were also gross. When our bill came though we were charged the adult price, but I was able to have the server correct it. She was great and friendly. None of this was her fault. My other daughter ordered plain buttered pasta and the butter sauce tasted like greasy chicken flavor. We were charged $15 for her gross bowl of penne pasta that she didn’t eat. My son had a burger and said it was fine. Several others in our group didn’t like their food. The giant pretzel appetizer was good. So basically we paid $170 for our family of 6 to enjoy a pretzel and a burger and have a soda. Way overpriced and not worth it. Save your money and go to Panda Express or Moe’s upstairs.
Let me start by saying the service was great and the waitress was very helpful. The food however was not what I would expect from the cost and the high profile location. Cold chicken wings, and cold burgers that we sent back, the kitchen however was also incapable of producing fresh hot replacements so we had to leave after waiting a further 45 minutes for our dishes. So overall very disappointing ?
I booked a table for eleven people for 18.00 we got there early to have a drink the service was bad and the staff were rude. My son in law went to the bar to buy a round of drinks he was told that each adult had to be stood with him to collect there drink what a stupid rule also you can’t buy alcohol until you are 21 but at 18 you can buy an AR-15 how stupid is that. We did not have a meal there in the end we finished our drinks and left. I will also be posting a second review about Universal in general it’s a long one so I will do this on my return to the U.K. for now in short no way will I come to Universal again.
