Oh dear oh dear what has happened to this place? Ate twice on current visit. First night was a couple of stodgy pasta dishes which were ok especially as we were tired from a flight and wanted something quick. The second meal out was poor from the off. Robotic serving staff with no emotional connection to their customer. Had Ribeye special and it turned up on a plate by itself surrounded by its own juices and a sad excuse for a side of fries. Used to have 2 sides with a main. Certainly not special! Whole experience put us off and won’t be returning. Millers used to be the go to place on previous visits but now sadly one to avoid. Needs a management change and fast.

Im saddened to post such a negative review on what was one of our most favourite places to visit in Orlando. I rarely ever take time to post reviews but as I want Millers Ale House to return to better working practises I wanted to post this review. Miller Ale House used to be our favourite venue in Orlando but very disappointing as its gone down hill. Greeters are miserable and blunt. Bar staff have little time or interest to help and throw the bills at you. On a Tuesday evening in July 2022 I arrived at 1900hrs to sit and wait for a table which was an hour wait. My family and I went to get drinks in external bar and there are loads of high tables with stools next to them. However you had to stand at the tables and are not allowed to sit on any if the high stool that were next to the hig tables! The barman was actually going around collecting chairs from people and telling them they all have to stand. There were children and elderly people that are being made to stand whilst they stack the chairs in the corner or simply place the stools under the tables. There were loads of deeply upset customers. The bar tender told my two young children to get off the stools and stand so I asked why was this necessary. Sadly he said he cannot explain and did not know so I asked to chat to the manager. I spoke to to the manager who advised that in order to limit the numbers of their customers inside the restaurant the lead barman had advised that it is a good idea to make the customers less comfortable in the restaurant so that less people want to stay, wait for a table, and eat in the restaurant. They felt its best to make customers feel like this so their staff dont get too stressed! In the 3 hours I spent in the restaurant the external bar had a max of 40 customers being served by 2 very grumpy bar tenders. I witnessed both bar tenders personally moaning to a few American customers that were sat around the bar area about foreigners (non American) customers trying to make themselves comfortable away from the bar area by sitting on stools. Some non American families walked to bar with their children to order drinks and were almost scorned with looks of discontent with the bar staff and also American customers already seated at the bar area. I walked to bar to bar to order drinks and overheard both bar tenders moaning to each other about work. A gentleman next to me was trying to pay but was ignored by both staff who were busy in their important personal conversation moaning about work. They eventually acknowledged the customer and threw his tab at him. He immediately tried to pay with his card but the bar tender walked away. There was no other person waiting for service apart from me. Both persons continued to moan to each other for 60 seconds only 2 metres from myself before one acknowledged me and took my order. I ordered a bucket of 5 beers, and 3 cokes for family. The barman never greeted me, looked in my eyes, or smiled. He placed drinks on bar and literally threw the tab in front of me. I love giving good tips in American for service and would happily pay 20% for the simplest of service. I take time to thank cleaners and give tips to janitors cleaning toilets. However the bar tender provided one of the lowest standard of service I had ever experienced. So I left only a dollar tip and walked away......... I watched the barman collect my receipt and the dollar tip and then shake his head with great scorn. It was as if he had been hard done by as he had not been given more for opening 5 bottles and pouring 3 drinks which took him 60 seconds. He even verbally moaned to his other bar tender who was stood at bar doing nothing. In order to make customers feel more uncomfortable I witnessed the bar staff tellijg children, the elederly, and then all others to get off stools so they could be stacked away in a spare room. The young children then had to to stand at a table which they could not even reach next to their parents. All customers were paying guests drinking drinks whilst they wait for a table to order food. The actions of the staf

We made Millers Ale House a regular stop in for a drink during our stay. It was handy and just across the road from the hotel and the first time we went we were looked after really well by the friendly staff. The atmosphere was good and they had lots of TVs that were showing the national sports games that were on. Pricing for drinks was reasonable. At a certain time they closed the tables down so everyone sat around the bar. We always managed to get a table booth though despite these being held for people ordering food. We never ordered food but always seen it being served up to and past 11pm and it all looked great. We intended to go for food after seeing how good it looked but never got the chance. Next time though………….

As a family we couldn't wait to revisit Millers for food due to previous impressive visits over several trips to Orlando. We entered a very quiet restaurant (5th July) and were asked to wait 15 mins for a table, which was fine but my kids did ask why we were waiting when it was empty. Main meals and drinks ordered, service was fine, food was decent. Actually my daughter said it was the best burger she'd ever had. Kids eat free on a Tuesday so was even better. Split the bill into 2 parties, ours had the kids meal charged and quickly without us saying the server returned and said she'd made a mistake and the kids meal had been removed. Other party paid cash, we paid card but left the tip in cash as my son wanted to give our server the cash so he actually located her in the restaurant. I signed the bill and we left. Two days later I had a notification from my bank that the bill amount had increased by nearly £10 not $. I questioned this and the bank said that sometimes a restaurant in the US changes the amount as your card is charged before the gratuity was added........but the gratuity was paid in cash! I have alerted my bank and also sent Millers an email. I had actually seen this posted on Facebook pages about bills being wrong, overcharged for drinks etc so I have been keeping the receipts as proof! It may only be 10 pounds, but the experience has left me annoyed considering both parties tipped the server and an extra 10 pounds was taken! We had planned on another visit but not now!

We were in Orlando for 3 weeks and came to Millers 5 times.. We arrived and the queue was long, so walked past the queue and straight to the bar...TIP you can order food at the bar... The drinks were ice cold and a huge choice, the bar tenders were fantastic! So friendly and helpful. Service quick too. Then the food arrived...the Cob salad was HUGE!.. i had the best fajita's and plentyful. The surprise at the end..the bill, so cheap for what we had... Next visit we had a pitch of cocktail...very strong!! All in all a great place to eat and drink...Home now but missing it so much..Excellent

Been coming to Millers each year and first place we head to when we arrive from the UK, this has always been our ‘go to’ place for the food drinks and atmosphere and we frequent it numerous times during our holiday!! The female bar staff midweek were rude (working in main bar and not restaurant area), only time they were nice was when we got the tab) it seemed working was an effort, at the weekend a different story the male barstaff couldn't have been more nicer, helpful, cheery, accommodating and their customer service was second to none, a pleasure to deal with!!! The atmosphere has definitely changed at millers the ‘buzz’ has gone from it which is such a shame

Veggie pasta was really nice !My partners philly cheese steak was ok.Really happy with service and drinks.Good atmosphere!

After a full day at Universal Studios and eating junk all day we needed something a bit more wholesome. We decided to stop by as it’s near our hotel. As we entered we were told it would be about 45-an hr wait. Not what u want to hear with hungry and tired kids, but understandable…Magically as we were walking to the outdoor patio to see if there were tables out there the hostess walks by and said we can sit at the bar tables. Amazing! We were so happy. This was store #008, check number 40068, and our server TEEJ! As restaurant owners ourselves and being in the industry we loved Teej, he truly made our night. Fun, personable, professional. Food is food, but having good customer service makes u remember the experience. It’s hard to find good workers today and especially servers. It is your choice to go out to dinner, always remember if u enjoyed the service make sure to tip them even if u see service charge or gratuity is included, a lot of times they share that between the entire establishment. And if u find a good worker like TEEJ u want to make sure he stays in that industry continuing to make his customers smile! Thank you!

Our 1st visit here we ordered online take-out salads. One we requested no onions, no tomatoes. We were given a time to pick up, but had to wait 10 minutes longer for it to be brought out. We get back to our hotel and the one we'd asked for no onions or tomatoes was full of both. Easy enough to remove from the salad but it clearly, in bold letters, said NO ONIONS, NO TOMATOES on the attached receipt. Our 2nd visit was dine in. We were seated immediately and our server, Chelsea, was quick bringing our drinks. One request was for a philly cheesesteak with NO onions. The order came out loaded with onions. Chelsea took it back but it took quite awhile for the correct cheesesteak to come out. Chelsea explained that 2 more had been cooked, both with onions, so they'd had to make a 4th one. It was brought out... it had onions. #5 was brought out... it had onions. FINALLY the 6th cheesesteak was brought out with no onions. By that time the rest of the party was finished eating. Chelsea was very apologetic about everything and brought out a complementary desert. We were also not charged for the cheesesteak. Chelsea did what she could to make it right, it was clearly the kitchen's fault. The food was good when it was the correct food.
