I come here every so often because the sushi and service is great. I've never had any issues until I came here for lunch. The issue I have with this establishment is another table was throwing out racial slurs, trying to start a fight with my 15 year old daughter because my daughter "looked" at them the wrong way. While they were cursing and telling us we are the reason Covid happened, NOT ONE employee or the owner of the restaurant jumped in to try and diffuse the situation or asked them to leave the restaurant. I am completely mortified and disappointed at the fact that they didn't care at all. While all of this was still going on, I gave my card to the server and asked to pay the bill, the server came back and apologized by saying she's sorry that that situation happened. Are you kidding me? Are they sorry? They're not sorry at all. For someone to yell out racial slurs against Asians in their sushi restaurant against a patron that is Asian, they didn't think to back up their race and culture? I guess money is more important than someone's dignity. Disappointed is an understatement. No matter how good your food is and how great the service is (this time around, the service was garbage at the fact that they didn't diffuse the situation)- I will never return to your establishment- the last 2 1/2 years have been hard reading about Asian hate crime happening all over the world, now I can say I have personally dealt with this in your restaurant because you didn't care to help at all, all you cared about was thinking if you helped, that table would've walked out on their check, and you would've been out of $150.00.
One of my go to spots for sushi in Orlando! I debated whether to review, because this place is already busy, so I didn't want to increase it's popularity and wait times lol. Faves: - Tonkatsu Ramen - Sushi Appetizer - Bento Box with Steak - Shrimp fried rice - Tuna Avocado Salad (must love acidity) Meh: - Tuna or Salmon Tataki (not as flavorful like the picture looked) There's still so many items I want to try such as their conch salad, and ceviche! They have a wonderful variety of items and flavors. More deets: - No outdoor seating - limited bar space - Long wait times. Even if you make a reservation, you'll wait 5-10 minutes to be sat. - All entrees and bento boxes include soup and salad. - Impressed with the prices, the prices seem fair considering the large portions
We been dining at this place for years now and get to the staffs pretty well, but we felt like lady owner does not treat us the same as other customers even though we always ended up spending at least $100 on our bill each time for 2This was felt by everyone at my table that owner shouldn’t be serving AT ALL because she is not treating all the customers the same as she was not attentive and always on a rush when servicing my table. She should let her servers as they are always great at it.

Service was amazing, food was great and came out hot. The price of the food was reasonable for the amount of food I got. Definitely will be going back.

I rarely take the time to write reviews however when staff LIES, over charges and then give half filled sauces that they up charged I feel the need to. Let me start by saying I have been a HUGE fan of Mikado’s for months now, my fiancé and I literally order the same order 2 sometimes 3x a week for weeks. We both dine in and place orders for pick up often but yesterday when I placed our regular order for my fiancé to pick up I asked for white sauce (same as we ALWAYS DO) the women taking our order mumbled something, since I didn’t hear her I asked what she said or if there was anything else and she stated no no the order is placed and to please make sure we arrive before 3:30 because that’s when they close. Fast forward 15 minutes later my fiancé arrives to pick up our food and we see we’ve been charged for white sauce (which has never happened in over a dozen pick up orders) when my fiancé asks about it the rep states it was stated on the call which not only is a lie, however if that is what she mumbled when I asked her to repeat herself she refused. My fiancé of course pays for the sauce (the problem is not the extra $1, but instead the quality of service, rude responses, and unprofessional manner of handling the situation). In addition to us having to pay for sauce (be aside $60 clearly Isn’t enough money for sushi) when we see the sauce we did get they barely filled the cup (literally the smallest amount we’ve ever received from a pick up order.) we’ll be finding a new favorite sushi place unfortunately. Food is great but how you treat your customers matter and disappointed is an understatement.
