Fast, friendly service in a convenient spot. Reasonably priced and delicious breakfast. Alison was very helpful and attentive. Would recommend!
It was so delightful to have breakfast with my family today at Metro diner. The service was excellent from the hostess to the manager, especially Wesley who took care of us; and forget the food was great. Thank you very much everyone. We will definitely come back for more.
This is one of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots the food is always top tier and it never misses. I got the chicken and waffles which is my usually with tenders instead of chicken and it did not disappoint! Our server Alison was extremely sweet and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed! She kept a smile and was absolutely amazing the whole time! I for sure will continue to come back
I come with my dog today and service was prompt, friendly and food came out quickly. Alison was very sweet and was able to accommodate us well. They even brought my dog water while I ate!
Wowww ? had to get the Chicken & Waffles with the strawberry ? butter! I mean The butter was so creamy, the fried chicken was to perfection and the waffle was so Fluffy!Have to mention Alison, she was awesome and recommended the pineapple/Orange Juice Mimosa, delish! ?I believe the head chef was present and was making up a really cool New set of Pancakes ? and then she came out and said hello! Such a fun experience! *?chef kiss*
Although the GPS kept insisting this place was located inside an as of yet built area (it was actually off by about a block), we found it. Located at the Loop, next to Pep Boys, it offers great food with great service.We were sat immediately after arriving and our server was super friendly, and knowledgeable about the food. We went for breakfast and everything was delicious. From the flavored coffee to the biscuits and the huevos rancheros (available for a limited time).No sooner had we placed our order and food started coming out. The biscuits were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The cinnamon rolls were sugary, sweet but not overpoweringly so and the candies walnuts gave them an extra crunch and texture.The huevos rancheros were basically home made fried tortilla chips that held very well to the sunnyside up eggs and the beans and pico de gallo. Every so often I would get an extra spicy hot from the slides jalapeños.I believe they have several locations so look for the one closest to you.
The food quality is quite good. People are quite nice and friendly (with a sense of humor), the setup is quite nice, where you can actually see the kitchen/cooks in the kitchen from the dining area. Indeed, where the locals eat. Very inviting place. Reminds me of the diner in bulb fiction. Very highly recommended.

Chicken is cooked perfectly, great portion sizes. Loved the cheese grits. Mimosas are basic but at $2.99 they are ok. Very friendly staff, quick service, and a nice outdoor dining area. Will be back!
I thought the food was excellent. First time going and I could barely choose what to order since there were so many good options!! I want to go again.
