I have been in town for business this whole week and have been sampling 5 local buffets because I like to eat varieties in a dining course; And, this buffet offers a delectable taste above the rest. I was surprised by the taste each individual dish brought to my palate. This restaurant chef team has done a great job of bringing out the taste by using simple ingredients as ginger, garlic, scallions, onion, jalapeños… As an Asian who love Chinese food, have owned a food business and sampling many Asian restaurants, I have to say that the chefs in this restaurant have done a great job compared to other local eateries. Go try it out?
People watch every piece of food you take form the buffet the food is below par! Everything taste not good I only ate a tiny bit of food and trust me for a buffet that’s strange.. they tried to add on $20 Gratuity on our bill we told them it’s a buffet we are not paying that!! They did take the $20 off the bill but it just shows how they are trying to swindle people for money especially if you didn’t know about tipping ! Please go somewhere else I wish we did!! For a recommendation the long horn steak house was amazing !!
Everything was absolutely the lowest quality imaginable. It was expensive, everything was way past overcooked. Also beware they automatically added a gratuity onto the bill. Then they present you with a credit card receipt asking for an additional tip. The only good thing I can say about the place is since everything was just shy of burnt. I'm fairly sure I shouldn't be up all night in the bathroom there's no way any bacteria could survive that much heat.Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
Food less than average. Should have realised this would not be a very good restaurant when our feet were sticking to the floor. Polystyrene plates and plastic cutlery! 15% tip automatically added to the bill yet only service received was drinks. With the tip included, 2 adults, 2 children and 4 soft drinks, $78. Didn’t want a fuss, just wanted to get out so paid quickly. Tables not very clean, napkin holder was dirty (lots of dust on top) and old food down the side of the tables. Wouldn’t visit again. If you’d like a good quality meal I wouldn’t recommend. Was busy with plenty of families but it wasn’t for us. You get what you pay for but this was overpriced for what it was. Not good value. Gave two stars because there were lots of food options and food was hot but they were the only positive points unfortunately.
Wish I would have read the reviews prior to coming here. Styrofoam plates and plastic silverware. Forced 15% gratuity added when only brought drinks and the check. Kids over 9 are full priced adults, and check for family of four was $99.39. Might have been worth it if the food was good, but it wasn't - even for a buffet. Definitely would not recommend.
Mei is placed in a small strip mall just next to Icon Park. It is a well stocked buffet full of all kinds of Chinese food and dessert. The price is great considering the other restaurants in the area. It is not fine dining but it is very good.
The food was and all that pizza rice and other food items were dry and for two adults a 12 year-old and two kids under six we were charged $100 which would’ve been fine if the food quality would’ve been better. I went into the restroom and it felt nasty with the floors being slippery and urine on the floor. Will not come back here and do not recommend
Very unprofessional.. to spendy for the food they have health inspection should be done there due to bugs and roaches found them in vanilla ice cream LOST FULL APPETITE ALONG WITH MY KIDS save money or go some where else other then this place
Sticky floor when u get food. Everything was dry and looked like it was sitting there all day. Went to pay and a gratituity charge was already on the bill. Had to get that off because I didn’t get anything but 1 water from the guy. All plastic plates and utensils. All for 20 dollars which isn’t at all worth that. It is about an hour later now and my stomach is not doing so well. There are many other better places around avoid this place.
Just bad from bland food, dirty windows, plastic foam dinnerware we had to seat ourselves not real friendly or talkative..will not return.Plus they add the trip 15% to your bill then ask for another on your ck out receipt. They only give you drink & bill.
