Amazing little place in a neat location, tons of character, the food was so good we have to go back and try more, had trouble choosing what to order because everything looked so good, and the specials were even more tempting. You know it's good when the side of veggies were delicious and cooked to perfection. Within minutes we meet both owners and had their personal recommendations and off menu wine specials to order. We cleaned our plates and had to order desert, we received comp glasses of champagne for my wife's b-day and a personal toast from the owner. A MUST visit if you are in town.
Awesome vibes with great food and great company. Our server (Julia is her name j believe) was EXCELLENT! She was a wizard at remembering orders. Food was awesome. The artwork was phenomenal. No wonder this is a local favorite! They did however hustle us in trying to take our plates away when we were clearly still working on it. That was a little annoying.
My husband I were in Orlando for a convention. A friend recommended Maxines. We ate outside on a refreshingly nice evening. The food was hot and delicious. We will go back when we are in Olando again. * note* Reservations are highly recommended, especially weekends.
This brunch was our food highlight of our 2 week Orlando trip with the family. The restaurant is in a lovely residential area. The welcome from all the staff was incredibly warm and friendly. Cathy our server was great and special mention to George the desert chef who as well as doing amazing deserts came for a chat. The food was freshly cooked. Special mention of crab cakes and biscuits with gravy. If you are looking for a special meal away from the tourist scene - this is the place.
Fabulous drinks, excellent service and delicious food of an eclectic variety. We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes and my lobster omelet was amazing. Highly recommend to upgrade from potatoes to the side salad. It's so good! We will be back to try more things. Suggest to carpool and be prepared to walk as street parking is needed.
This was our second visit and the food and service was excellent. Jacob served us our water the minutes we sat down with a big smile. We had McKenna as our waitress and she was excellent. Jacob came out with my soup along with a big smile. I notice he was very quick with the service and cleaning up the tables with taking finished plates. Never a disappointment at this establishment. I have to give it a 10++++++/great food, love the atmosphere along with the excellent food and service.
Recommended by a friend, we checked this place out for brunch. This gem is a true find- great food, service and a super fun atmosphere. We sat outside at one of the areas they decorated with lots of fun chairs/tables and decor. I had a pineapple mimosa along with crab cake eggs Benedict and loved every bite. Highly recommend getting off the I-drive area to check this place out. Reservations available and recommended.
We went for lunch with a friend who had been there before. Not too large restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Nice food - not massive choice but enough - friendly and helpful staff
We dined here on Friday after searching Google maps for a brunch spot. We were NOT disappointed! We did make a reservation on their website so if you can, that would be helpful as there is not a whole lot of seating, especially if the weather is not good. This place is so fun and unique! I want to go back soon because there were several items on the menu I wanted to try. I went for the Chicken & Biscuit Bowl. YUMMY! Some of the best biscuits I've ever had. The gravy was so hearty, it reminded me of pot pie filling. The chicken was fried perfectly. I added cheese and the double thick bacon.....woah! Always add the bacon. My husband ordered the burger. Cooked perfectly medium rare. The bread I think had garlic salt on it.....delicious! Get the bacon on it too!!Can't wait to come back with friends!
This was a neat place!Very local, and the owners are very involved!Good for brunch, and all of the staff was very friendly and content!Food was good, and drinks were refreshing.Only downside, they freshly painted the red tables, but the paint wasn't weathered or dry, it ruined a really nice shirt.Overall, worth checking out!
