Juicy, tender and tasty fried chicken. Ms. Angel is doing magic in her kitchen with the addictive Halo sauce, yummy homemade ranch and perfectly executed fried chicken. When the breast is just as juicy as the thigh, you know what your doing!!!! Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Sir Doug, pulls out the red carpet and makes us feel special for visiting! Went to this Maryland fried chicken on way home one day. They have a little more foods then Apopka's Maryland fried chicken has. So enjoyed the black eyed peas over rice. They also have red beans and rice. So good and they have cornbread rather than rolls. I will always love my Apopka FL Maryland fried chicken but this was a very nice change. Next time I go to Dr I will stop in there again. And I guarantee you that.
The best fried chicken around hands down and less expensive than most! The owner/cook takes pride in her delicacies and very friendly... Nothing like good fried chicken, okra with homemade hot sauce, and rice and beans while watching the game or good movie!... Happy customer!
This is one of my favorites places to fried chicken or gizzards. Actually is the only place I go for gizzards. I drive a 40 minutes just to go there. They have really good fried chicken it is always fresh and hot. They to order so you know your food is always pipping hot. Restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly.
There are some "down home" sides and specials you just aren't going to find everywhere ! Go check it out ! Oh, of course there is chicken !!The only drawback is a tiny parking lot, and having to cross the road so close to a large busy interaction~ but a little planning on your part will make the trip well worth while. Angel Angel Angel (The person in the kitchen holding it down) no one does it better. Angel sauce is fire too. They have been under new management for some time and I can say that the difference in quality of food is noticeable. Love this place.

Wow where do I start this use to be one of the Best Fried Chicken places around (Edgewater Drive) especially with the old owners. Apopka is the best now. Bk in February I placed a to go order to make a long story short it was not ready upon arrival nor made so we redid the order once food arrived home all orders where not in bag (My Boyfriend picked up Order). Crazy part he never received a receipt. So I called bk an advised Cashier Angel that all items where not in the order her words come bk we have remaining order here by that time no Just give us a refund I paid with CC. Weird part about refund was she stated she put it through system without swipeing my card I knew something was wrong. Her attitude was already not welcoming. Refunds can take anywhere from 7-10 days but guess what never received refund called today spoke with so Called Owner David very rude said he didn’t believe me advised I could pull bank statements. Also I still had receipt from when I asked for refund. Per David the Owner they do not give out refunds so that tells you a lot about a business there revenue is down you can’t issue out a Customers refund. It’s a Saturday noon no customers that food is nasty corn bread muffins dry chicken salty go by to the original Marylands recipes an just maybe business will increase. I will never do business again but after being disrespected by the lame Owner David I received my refund. He kept bragging on there reviews please until you’ll eat at the Apopka location you will never go back to edgewater Drive Location ever in Life.In yes I snatched my money out the cashier hand after the nasty Manager David spoke to me very rude in the phone Hell yeah. Trust you never had my business from when the old owners left. Take TIps from Apopka Location maybe you will get business on the weekends.
Awesome staff, very friendly and helpful. Chicken is delicious, juicy, crispy and loaded with flavor. Many delicious sides to choose from. Excellent chicken livers also !!
