My family and I ate here this evening and it was phenomenal, 10/10. Great food, great service, and great place! A special thanks to our server Juliana who did an exceptional job serving us. We loved the vibrant lively atmosphere!!! If you want an active upbeat night this is the place for you. The food is very fresh and delicious. Everything was brought out in a timely manner and staff was friendly and courteous. We had a great time!
Was my first time in this place and the experience was incredible, food great and a affordable price ,drinks are awesome, and Sebastián gave us only good suggestions in our food ,I will be back for sure
Mares is very good Peruvian food. I've been here a couple of times now and had a good experience on both occasions. As you can tell by the pics I did have to sit outside it had a really good lunch crowd. Plus, I had to work a bit and it was noisy. The place is not big at all inside and it feels cramped when full. Nevertheless, the servers are really nice, attentive and helpful with the menu if you are not sure. I tried the Peruvian beer Cusqueña, I do recommend. The food was good. I had the churasco comes as show in pic. My only issues was that I asked for medium well and got medium. It was too busy to go through the motions and I was starving, so I made do. I will definitely go back to try some other items on the menu and sitting inside. LOL. Overall this is a really good spot with great food. Must try!!! I love the "Corn Nuts" that they serve complimentary instead of chips and salsa or bread.
First time trying Peruvian food and it definitely won’t be the last! This restaurant was fantastic. From the food, to the drinks, and the service. Our server was very friendly, helpful, and attentive the whole night. We got tostones rellenos de aji de gallina as an appetizer and pescado a lo macho and arroz con mariscos as an entree. And the dessert was a delicious passion fruit mousse with kiwi syrup. 10/10 recommend eating here! Also can’t leave out how cute and aesthetically pleasing the decor was, very nice vibe!

This place is great! Amazing food, friendly staff, so many selections, great kid’s menu, and they even offer breakfast on the weekends!

Excellent food, servings are huge so better to share plates and taste everything, we have been back several times. They do need to get better at preparing takeout orders, we had issues twice because they were so busy that items were not included. Service has been great all the time when dining in. The star is the food, drinks are really good too. Can't miss with the pisco sour cocktail. Sushi rolls are amazing as well. And the best part it's like 6 minutes from home ?
I came with my husband from Colorado straight to Mares. Everything was delicious, para chuparse los dedos. Great food!! Better than any Peruvian restaurant!!
