Asian food with a tapas style selection at the top of the menu. The roti is the best I have had in some time, and the curry that accompanies it was quite nice. We also enjoyed the duck Bao buns, very tender, delicious duck. I also ordered a plate of char kway teow for my main dish and my daughter ordered a red, chicken curry that she enjoyed. My noodle dish was parked as spicy but I would say mild to medium, very flavorful though and will definitely be back.
The food is always amazing at Mamak! I eat the lettuce wraps at least three to five times per month! The service is always great and Page with the pink hair is my favorite! If you love tapas, sharing food this is your spot!
Very expensive, the rice was supposed to have shrimp maybe the cook add one small shrimp was chop in microscopic pieces smaller than grain of salt The rice taste burnt reheated with all the good places around I choose this. My companion nor I will go back to these place.
5 stars!!! No doubt!!! Amazing customer service and amazing food. The place design is really cool and the menu is really good, we tried 2 different rices and were really good. Cocktail was good, a different mix but not something amazing.A place to return and taste all the menu.
Good location, parking at the rear Large spacious restaurant, good service, nice bar and lots of choice on the menu Food we had was good, and served quickly and when ready
We stopped off at this restaurant in an Asian district along Clolonial Dr in Orlando FL. Got take out; it was ready in 10 minutes. Very organized menu with clear descriptions of the ingredients. We ordered Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce, Nasi Goreng Indonesian , Chicken LoMein and spring rolls. Everything was delicious with the right amount of salt; and the rice was just perfect. The following day, we ordered Nasi Goreng Indonesian, Roast Duck Fried Rice, Chicken LoMein, Summer Rolls with Peanut Sauce and some green beans. Everything once again delicious. Price was reasonable too. The menu says that this restaurant has the top street dishes of numerous Asian countries.
My favorite were the lettuce wraps, fun for everyone and very tasty. A close second is the Pad Thai. It had fluffy eggs, tender strips of chicken and cute pieces of shrimp. The garlic scallion fish had a nice sauce but eat it warm, when it cools it becomes a lump of tough fried something. The basil rice was nice and airy with aroma. The golden wontons weren't really wontons but a fried pouch with shrimp, still good just different. The mamak delight wasn't much to have, not very flavorful. Our waitress was very nice. Overall, the food isn't entirely authentic but it hits its target audience on the better end of Americanized Asian food.
Ordered ubereats for lunch on a Friday and got a pad Thai with chicken (chicken was extra cost) along with 10 pieces of breaded chicken wings (you get a choice of either 5 or 10). You also get a choice of sauce for the wings, which comes in a separate fairly large container. The pad thai was disappointing, as the flavor was very bland. The chicken wings on the other hand were very tasty and the breading still stayed crispy even after the delivery ride. The sweet Thai chili sauce was the right amount of sweet and lended itself quite well to the saltiness of the breading.
Long time customer, loved this place until today. Took a bite of a duck lettuce wrap, thought there was a bone. But no, IT IS A HUGE PIECE OF GLASS! Now I have a comped meal and non stop anxiety hoping I don’t get internal bleeding. This is obviously on purpose, glass doesn’t accidentally end up inside of a prepared meal. Steer clear.
