The waitress hollered at me because I ask for extra shrimp, extra eggs, bean sprouts and no veggies in my shrimp fried rice. I think because I am black and was the only one in the restaurant at the time? The minute 3 white ladies walked in she was dripping with sweetness at their table. Don't go alone, especially if you are a minority.
This isn't a fancy place, but the food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the food arrives quickly. We enjoyed our last visit and will return.If you've been there more than a year ago, take note that the location has moved. It used to be in the main shopping center close to Publix and Starbucks, but it's now located across the parking lot near the Indian kabob restaurant. It took us a while to find it because the shopping center signage hasn't been updated and neither has Google maps.
Ordered a simple chicken fried rice and couldn’t eat the chicken. I’ve never been served dark meat with my fried rice EVER. Totally gross texture and feel.
Absolutely terrible service, we’re told toBe quick as soon as we entered even tho there was over 45 mins to close. Food was less than mediocre as well. Definitely wouldn’t recommend or return.
Ordered the food first time and asked since I am vegetarian and that’s the first thing I said if there is any oyster sauce in the vegetable lo mein and she checked and said yes so I told her to just give me steamed and then I asked for Vegetable spring rolls and she never mentioned that they only have vegetable egg rolls with shrimp inside. Amazing when I am asking all these questions, why did not she use her brain to say that they don’t have spring rolls and egg rolls have shrimp in it. I took a bite and felt some strange flavor in my mouth and forced myself to throw up to get it out of my system and my face is swelling up because I don’t eat any meat and now I know that shrimp definitely is deadly for me. I called and asked why did she not mention that shrimp is in the vegetable egg roll, she commented vegetable egg rolls always have meat in it so I said I ordered vegetable spring rolls, she said they don’t carry it so why not say it when I was ordering… she was absolutely rude with no class whatsoever… never ever putting my step in that place again !! She was the owner and with such bad service that she hung up on me when I asked to speak with the manager, this restaurant does not even deserve 1 star, absolutely HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !

We love Lotus Garden. The food is great and the service is just right. Their Hot and Sour Soup is SO good!

I ordered the shrimp with broccoli and requested extra sauce. To my surprise, it had no sauce or gravy. So I basically spend $9 for the lunch special for a couple of pieces of steamed shrimp and broccoli. Very disappointed!
