Took my 9yr old nephew for the weekend. Everything was as expected, long lines but rides are worth the wait. Having the express pass has it's benefits it helped with shorter wait times. Staying on Universal property was great. We valet parked once we got there and didn't see our vehicle until it was time to depart. Of course there is additional cost for using valet and self parking. Overall trip was awesome!! I ended up becoming a seasonal pass holder!! Looking forward to my next trip already!!
Beautiful hotel with the most comfortable beds and pillows! After a long day in the park we slept well! We stayed one night, but arrived at 7 am to get our cards so we could use the included express pass on our check in and check out days. Definitely worth the money with the Passholder rate we got.
very great trip universal studio- city walk- volcano bay was fantastic! Portofino Bay Hotel very nice! Express pass really worth having. The restaurants are very good and reasonable priced! Plenty of place to eat at.
From entry to exit the staff was extremely helpful. The resort is gorgeous. Momma Dellas is a absolute must for dinner. I highly recommend Thirsty Fish for a relaxed happy hour time. The proximity to the parks was incredible. Walking to enjoy the sites and also having the ability to relax on a water taxi was incredible.
Had a different and new experience of enjoyment in Orlando when i decided to book Universal vacation with Loews Portofino .. Did not need to leave the resort at all .. well done Universal and Portofino
Great stay, staff were excellent and very helpful in all areas. The boat to the theme parks is a great way to go, good on the way back and the lines go quickly. It was very easy to walk back. Room was nice and overlooked the bay so good view. Clean and well maintained. Complimentary toiletries were of a good quality. The buffet breakfast was really good and set us up for the parks. Location really did look the part Hope to be back
We booked a 3 bedroom suite online. Upon arrival we were given 3 connecting rooms. We have small children and did not like that there were exterior doors on their rooms and felt like this was not a suite. 2 of the three rooms had significant black mold. One (all steel) room door had to be kicked to be opened. The door knob to the door between our room and an adjacent room came off in my hand. Very disappointed in the state of the rooms for $1300 per night.
Me and my wife wanted a place to stay and relax while enjoying the theme parks and this resort was incredible. The on property restaurants are amazing and the property is beautiful. I would highly recommend
It is a gorgeous resort with top notch service and great food. They go to great lengths to keep kids entertained and make life easier for the parents. We had an amazing time and can't wait to be back!
We loved everything about the hotel, it was clean and lovely, the water taxis were very regular and wait times were no more than 10 minutes. our only complaint was the mattresses were a little soft and gave us slight back ache.
