We really enjoyed our dinner at Kona Cafe. Our waitress Mary was excellent and so friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed the poke bowl, it had delcious and unique flavours and most importantly very fresh fish. This is a very good option for a causal dinner outside the parks and you can never go wrong with Mac and cheese at Disney. Had the key lime dessert parfait and it was a tropical explosion of flavour. Certainly will be returning to try the Tonga toast at breakfast.

About a week ago, my family and I had a very good light dinner after a day at MK. We also took a few minutes to enjoy the sights of the Polynesian Resort grounds. The check-in process worked well, and we were seated ahead of our reservation time. We opted for a light meal and enjoyed an appetizer of chicken wings, a salad, and a soup. I must say that all were very good, but the wings were rather exceptional. Our Sushi main dishes were also delicious and very well prepared. I also recommend that whatever you eat, you must save room for dessert, we tried and shared a serving of bread pudding with ice cream that turned out to be heavenly delicious. Let me also mention that that we ordered Fruit Spritzers to drink and they were great, very refreshing and fruity. It was a surprise that we got free refills. The whole experience was rather memorable and I do not hesitate to recommend Kona Cafe for a light meal. Now, if you want to eat a lot, then try to get into Ohana (next door). We also ate there and it was "fantastic".

Seafood curry was delicious and burger cooked to order, very tasty pineapple bread pudding. Casual, quick service, but didn't feel rushed. Family atmosphere, good table service and meal. $$$, no reservation, about a 10 minute wait. Pleasant staff, clean tables.

We went here for breakfast because we wanted to try the Tonga Toast, but we also got the Macadamia nut pancakes which were the star of the breakfast. I’ll be back for the pancakes! The Tonga Toast was good but barely had any banana in them which was disappointing.

Poke bowls are good quality but portions are tiny for the $20. price. Chicken meal is very average, a dry chicken drumstick with a glob of rice. Bread pudding used to be incredible but now is just a compressed bunch of dry bread with ice cream. Service on our visit was super slow with no apology. We were seated 40 minutes late and then waited much longer than we should have for meals. I've never complained about the prices at Disney because I know that exceptional experiences cost money. I think Disney may be taking their customers for granted and also resting on past laurels.

Amazing Service.Steak was soo good.Stir fry noodles had soo much flavor and were so good.Poke bowl had no sauce and was too dry.Bread pudding was soo good and big enough for 8 people to share and still not be able to finish it.

I absolutely loved this restaurant! Honestly, I tried both restaurants in the Polynesian Resort and this was by far my favorite. I had a limited sedition teriyaki New York strip steaks n with mashed potatoes and broccolini which was delicious! Probably the best meal I had at Disney. My husband had the beef tenderloin and ended up eating half of mine. The beef tenderloin has a coffee flavor but was very good and rich in flavor. We also had the bread that was served free with the meal and teriyaki wings as an appetizer that were very good. I definitely recommend this hidden gem!!!

tuna poke was great!! friendly service

We went as a family of 3. One 7 year old and 2 adults. The menu choice is quite limited but what we ordered was tasty. We weren't staying at the resort hotel, so it was quite out of our way to get to.

Excellent food and wonderful service.
