Perfectly cooked noodles, wonderful flavor and at a reasonable price!
What a delightful joint. My daughter took me to lunch. I was so amazed at how delicious everything was! How friendly the servers were. Hunter was are bartender and server and she was outstanding! The ramen was so fresh with layers of flavor. The goyzo was fresh and tasty. Don't forget to try all of the delicious sauces. I will definitely be back.
If JINYA is not the best Ramen spot in Orlando, then is one of the best, probably in the top 3. The food is really good, and the presentation is excellent. Prices are also not that crazy even when it’s a really popular place. Menu has a lot of options that will satisfy most people that might not like Ramen, and the atmosphere is really unique. The only downside is that if you don’t have a reservation you will have to wait quite a bit, due to its popularity and the size of the place you will most likely be waiting an average of 45-60 minutes for a table.
We went on a whim on a Saturday afternoon, we were visiting family nearby and I'm also on the hunt for a good ramen joint. I have been, personally, working in ramen restaurants for the last 5 years almost exclusively so, I guess I'd say it's my 'favorite' food to eat in a regular basis. Now on to the food, we started with the takoyaki (one of my favorite apps of all time) my partner has never tried them before and she loved them! I thought they were uniquely delicious as well. They came with all of your normal garnishes and sauces... but the base was EGG SALAD! Kinda loved it tbh, I think it may be a way to utilize the over cooked eggs for the ramen. GENIUS. The crispy rice Tuna was just okay. 3 small pieces of very oily crispy rice with pretty decent Tuna. We would skip it next time. The RAMEN. I decided on the Creamy Vegan ramen with tofu and added chicken soboro. I can say with complete honesty... this was one of the best bowls of vegan ramen I've had. The only downfalls would saybwere the noodles, they were wavy how I like them, but seemed to be cut short? The creamy consistency of the brothbwas outstanding, tofu was creamy, fried onions were fine, veg was great. I added hot sauce to it and the acidity of the hot sauce cut perfectly through the thick creaminess of the broth. It was a well made bowl of soup. My partner got the black Tonkotsu. I rarely eat pork, but had to try it anyway. The broth was a little thin for a pork bone soup but the flavor was very good, almost smoky. One of the better flavored Tonks I have had. The chashu... very underwhelming. It was tender, but it was maybe an ounce of belly and pretty fatty. It could have used another veg or so in the bowl as it was mainly noodles and soup. We enjoyed it though. Our server Carl? Was absolutely outstanding and attentive. 5/5 for service. 3.5/5 for food. Cant wait to go back, maybe try the one in Charlotte in a few months.
I drive all the way from Clermont just to eat here!! One of my favorite spots to eat! Food always taste good! Service is always great! Lots of options on the menu not just soup. Great atmosphere and location as well. 10/10 highly recommend
Tried out Jinya yesterday for a early dinner, we ate outside as the weather was cool enough. They do have plenty of indoor dinning too, as the traffic because of it being on Summerlin Ave maybe too noisy for some. We both ate the Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen which was wonderful and is already our new favorite Ramen dish! Anthony our server was very attentive making sure we were having a great experience. We live in the are so this will be one of our go to places.
Great happy hour! Love the apps. Tons of different ramen options too--something for everyone. Kids meal is also great, I love that it exposes the kids to some food they might not have tried before but also includes some plainer food to make sure the picky eaters have something to eat. Will definitely be back!
Pleasant experience to quench that Ramen thirst. We luckily had to wait only 15 minutes to be seated, but I heard that it can take up to 2 hours because of how much in demand this place can be. The food was excellent, our group ordered a variety of bowls, mine being the Spicy Chicken Ramen (there are 3 levels of spicy, I chose the middle level but I definitely could've handled the third after trying middle, anyone sensitive to spice I recommend low tier). The broth was very flavorful and kept going for it with each bite, wanting more broth by the end. They offer veggie and non-pork broths for those who can't eat pork (like myself). Outdoor seating was decent, but a little cramped depending on your neighbors. Prices were reasonable and the staff were very friendly. Will return.
**GLUTEN REVIEW** This restaurant advertises gluten friendly options, but our waitress told us that there is cross contamination in the cooking method for the noodles. They cook the GF noodles with the regular noodles. I am SUPER grateful she knew and told me so I didn't get sick. I have emailed the corporate office requesting this to be either disclosed or have the false advertising removed. Beyond that, my kiddo had his first real ramen experience and loved his JINYA Tonkotsu Original 2010. My hubby also had the crispy chicken with Ponzu, and said it was delicious.Update in response to the restaurant, paper menus are not available due to Covid, and it is not advertised on the actual website unless you click on order now, which I didn't because I was actually visiting the restaurant. Once you touch a gluten free item with a glutenous item it is no longer gluten free, and you shouldn't mislead people into thinking otherwise.
The octopus balls were amazing, the soup was delicious, and the dessert was good.
