First time visit for lunch special. Place appeared dingy, and I saw flies. Food tasted good and for the quantity and price the lunch special wasn't bad, but I'm positive the rice was old and/or probably microwaved. I've reheated rice many times and I can tell when it's not reheated or microwaved properly. It definitely wasn't fresh. If the place was a bit tidier and food tasted fresh I'd come back, but as it stands, I'll have to pass.

They believe in customer service! I stopped in on way to a show at Dr Phillips center and ordered their curry chicken. Out came what looked like and tasted like jerk chicken. As I was looking at my receipt the guy behind the counter saw my concern and came out to ask me what was wrong. I started to tell him that I thought I had ordered the curry chicken and he interrupted by saying "you ordered the curry chicken and I put the order in wrong. Keep what you have and I'll have the curry chicken out shortly." I tried to protest, saying that the jerk chicken was delicious and I would be fine with that. He would not hear of that. "Eat what you can and take the rest home". Both dishes were wonderful and each was more than a meal in itself. I told him that I loved him now but would hate him in the morning after weighing myself and he replied that he was also a personal trainer and could help me there as well. Small, somewhat dingy place with a few tables, probably catering more to takeout than eat in, but the staff (one guy behind the counter and someone else in the kitchen) were delightful. Not fine dining but great food and they even have a decent wine selection, though served in plastic disposable glasses. . Will be heading there again for take out, and not waiting for an event downtown.

Fresh patties and a great bar. Vegetarian options and authentic, hearty food. Great spot for a quick bite or to sit and enjoy good drinks/food at. Great location too, pretty much listened to great music while still having a great view of Orange Ave.

Went on a new food spree in Downtown Orlando this weekend! I’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly. This place has a cool vibe and good food! The wait was a little long, but I love their Jerk Chicken! I’d love to go back and try some other menu items as well! Definitely try this place if you want to try a different taste from tacos and pizza in the city!

The service was good. The young lady who assisted us was nice and brought the food over to our table. The Jamaican patty and Coco bread was good, but I have had better. The jerk chicken was really good and had the perfect amount of spicy and sauce. The rice however was under cooked and hard. I loved the music they played while we ate. Overall it was okay and I might give it a second chance if I came down this way again.

Story time; my friends and I were walking down the street in search for a bite to eat when we all smelled something delicious coming from a cute little Jamaican hole in the wall. I ended up ordering a jerk chicken sandwich with sides of "British chips" and mac and cheese. 40 minutes later when everything arrived, we were immediately disappointed. The chicken sandwiches were stone cold and hardly had any chicken on them, the fries were lukewarm and soggy, and the Mac looked and tasted like rubber. I've had Kraft instant Mac that was better. Normally I would've just sucked it up and kept my mouth shut, but I expect a $10 sandwich and $5 sides to be appetizing, or at least not served in styrofoam boxes. After a few bites, we left to find someplace else. Steer clear if you don't like getting stiffed.

The food was incredible, but the hospitality was top notch. After a rough day of travel, this was exactly what I needed. Highly recommend and I will be back.PS. Try the Jerk Chicken

The most authentic Caribbean food you’ll ever have. The music will serenade you and give you glimpses of what it’s like to float in the ocean off the coast of the Caribbean Sea. The customers all leave with smiles on their faces and the staff is as kind and humble as can be. I will come here until I am 178 years old. Give this place a try. NOW!

This is my 3rd time eating here. I am plant based /gluten free. Their fish and chkn drum sticks are are yummy. The food has been fresh every time which I love that! Definitely a place to check out
