I have eaten a lot of Chinese food and Dim Sum in my life. This Hong Kong Alley Kitchen is the worst food that I have never had. I believe they served us couple days old Dim Sum and my sons throw up after ate in the restaurant. Also, the Chinese dishes don’t have much taste. There are a lot of better Chinese restaurants in town, so I actually not recommend this restaurant.
How have I never eaten here before?! I've been missing out and if you haven't either, you are too! Let me start by saying I'm very particular when it comes to food and they did NOT disappoint. I called to place my order because I wanted to inquire if their chicken dishes were prepared with white meat. I don't like dark meat and I won't eat chicken thighs no matter how they're prepared. Some restaurants will tell you that they serve white me when they don't and I cannot be fooled. I asked about the Sweet and Sour Chicken, the General Tso's Chicken and the Sesame Chicken. I was told that they are all made with white meat and fresh ingredients. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken and my boyfriend had the Sesame Chicken. I can indeed confirm that both dishes were made with all white meat. We also ordered Chicken Fried Rice (which was white meat too), Shrimp Lo Mein and Egg Rolls. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! On top of that the portions are HUGE! Two or Three people can share ONE dish easily. We had SO much leftover. I will definitely be dining here again... and again!
This is the second time I came and everything was delicious as usual!!! My mother told me the rice reminded her of fried rice she ate in Puerto Rico!
Best Chinese food I've had in the southeast!! This place is SO GOOD and pretty legit. Ma po tofu was everything I always hope for when I order at other places, and it never is. Char siu pork is really good and just like we used to get in Chinatown in Hawaii. They're not super cheap but the food is so delicious and the portions are good sized, it's so worth it. Wish I could eat here every day.
I have family in Venezuela and everything here reminds me of the Chinese food served in my country. This is the only place I go to for Chinese/Cantonese style food in Orlando. Everything is made fresh and they do accommodate for vegan/vegetarians like me. The server, Chu, is the best and super friendly! :-)
Being from ny chinese food down south is lacking. We found this place and wow the food was amazing. The staff was fantastic and we cannot wait to go back. Try the happy family it was amazing.
This hit the spot for lunch. The lunch deal is ~$10 and includes a soup and bread. Pictured are the general tso tofu and broccoli chicken--both were delicious!
This is the first time I actually had good tasting American Chinese food in Florida. If you're from the North, and want good, reliable "Americanized" Chinese food that you're used to eating, then this is your spot. No other Chinese restaurants in Orlando come close. So happy to finally find a go-to Chinese restaurant after far too many disappointments.
The shrimp dish (Salt and Pepper Fried Shrimp) that was served was very old, borderline rotten. The body of the shrimp was mushy to pasty. The Hainanese chicken was tough and seemed old as well.Service was quick. Their white rice and jasmine tea were good. But that was it. Very disappointing.
This rating is solely for doordashers. We routinely get a 6-15min wait for the food. Sometimes the food is ready to pickup (I'm guessing because it sat for a while before a driver accepted delivery). Food here is pretty good I'd give a 4* for the food.
