This is so far one of THE BESTTTTTT Lebanese restaurants I have ever been tooo. I literally felt at home. I got the chefs platter 2,3. Kibbeh, lentil soup, and 2 yogurt. Everything was greatttt. Definitely step by if you love Lebanese food.
Cannot say enough good things, the atmosphere, the selection variety they offer, the FOOD, but most importantly the amazing staff!!! We came with 14 and they were so accommodating and got our food out quick! Will definitely be a MUST go to when we visit Orlando again!
So I have been doing my best to explore Orlando cuisine far and wide. I heard that this place has some of the best Middle Eastern food in the city. At least according to the fine readers of Orlando Weekly. So I grabbed a couple of friends and took the long trek down to Hiawassee and checked it out.I get in this place, and I see just delicious food displayed everywhere behind the glass. There's nothing better than watching those spinning meat sticks in the back getting ready to get eaten by me. I check out the menu and weight out my options, knowing I kind of want a little bit of everything.I decide to get the Chef's Platter for 2-3 people (Chicken Kabob, Shish or Kafta Kabob, Hummus, Tabouli, Grape Leaves (V) & Falafel. Served With Garlic Sauce & Pita Bread). And, because I wanted it, I also got the Chicken Shawarma Platter (Marinated Chicken Breasts Roasted Slowly On A Spit, And Cut In Thin Slices).I mean, everything was good. So good. The kabobs were awesome. Charred to perfection and not dried out because of it. Don't just eat them off the stick, though. You gotta grab of a hunk of meat with the pita, dip it in the hummus, maybe a little garlic sauce, a slice of pickle on top. Basically I'm telling you to get your hands dirty and play with your food here. This kind of cuisine is so much fun for that. The hummus was better than anything you can buy in a store. Mega creamy, and teeming with spices. The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the outside, like a Lebanese hush puppy. And the pita bread was so soft, so rippable, and the perfect vessel for me to make dozens of little sandwiches with multiple flavor combinations. So good. Also also, the shawarma was excellent. First time I've ever had shawarma, which is surprising, since I saw the Avengers back in like 2012. Very flavorful. This one was a little dry, but hey, all meat that's barbecued like this can be dry. That's why we invented sauces. And tabouli and hummus and rice, and pickles. Very good stuff.Overall, I really really loved this place. I wasn't sure how I'd like the Lebanese focus with the foods that were more basic Middle Eastern, but everything new I tried here was really excellent. The staff was super friendly and made me feel welcome. I will definitely be back here one day.
The food is good. The guy at the cash register looked like he had a few smokes. He was eating his lunch/snacks and walking around doing his thing. You don't hold your food in your fingers and use your hand minus any gloves to pack food.I would go back only for food and if I crave for some good middle eastern food.
I am giving 3 stars because of customer service. I love the food. I keep coming back because of quality but I always have issues with sauces. I understand it's extra which is why I ask for extra when I order. I know I have to pay and I am 100%ok with it. Most of the time I do not ask for receipt and they always forget to charge. When I ask for what I ordered I get yelled at and overtalk and they won't listen. This is will be my last time there unfortunately I'll be looking for another place in the area. Not because of food, because of the way they respond to customers.
Poor customer service, quality of food has decreased considerably. Allows friends dog to jump all over customers. Too small of a space. Order was ready and sat on counter for 15 minutes before given to me
Awesome experience ? the food is amazing and the staff very friendly ? ? I come for lunch everyday and haven't been disappointed ? I would definitely recommend ?
I really like this place, food is so tasty and delicious. Sandwiches are superb but anytime I ordered the platters it was a bit cold for my taste.
Food tastes good, however the customer service provided is terrible. It took me 40 minutes to get my order of dishes that were all pre cooked, such as tabouli, hummus and rice. The lady didn’t seem to care about the waiting time. If you don’t want to be disappointed, order in advance, otherwise you will not have a pleasant experience.
The aroma was inviting as I stepped in and then was greeted by warm smiles and hellos ?? from the staff. Even one of the patrons got in the mix with the hospitality and helped me pick some pastries for the order. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great! ??? Apparently, this eatery is the most successful Lebanese fast casual in the country and they originated in Metro Detroit. Go figure ??♂️ It may have something to do with how great the food is. But I'm no expert. ??? #GoodEats #LocalGem #theresthatfoodie
