Absolutely good service and beautiful outdoor seating. Food was very delicious and cooked to satisfaction.
Well, if you’re looking for a beautiful place over looking the lake, but with the worst management staff YOU’VE EVER MET then proceed with caution. For a whole host of reasons I have an emotional support animal. She has certified paperwork and is allowed by law to be anywhere I go. However, unbeknownst to me, the b*%^~iest manager came over to our table to strongly and with the harshest tone ever tell me that my dog is not allowed on her property. Let me just say this about that… there is a way that you can approach people to make your point known. And coming off as a wretched B is not maybe the way I would have gone here. I will never ever ever ever patronize this establishment. I am a disabled veteran. I have certification on this animal & there is a kind and proper way to speak to others. This was NOT THE WAY!!! This manager was NASTY!!!! Not only in posture, delivery & tone, but also her verbiage!
I had no idea there was a Grills near downtown Orlando, we usually go to the location at Port Canaveral to watch the cruise ships leave, of before/after we have friends in town going on a ship. This location is on a beautiful large lake with a giant outdoor patio/bar that has both covered and uncovered seating. There is also a large dock for boats to pull up and a grass/play area where kids can run around. The drinks at both locations are excellent and it’s a great spot for dinner or just some drinks and hanging out. I appreciate they have a good selection of non-seafood items as I don’t eat a lot of fish but my wife and her family do so they have something for everyone.
Mother’s Day we decided to go to Grills Restaurant. We have been there many times. It was one of our favorite rest until this year. We were disrespected by some people eating there. They told us to sit on the floor that they will feed us like pigs besides all the other discriminating “jokes”. The worse was the servant saw all and didn’t care but instead laughed as well. We decided to leave instead of lower ourselves to their level. Yes there is many Latinos with education, values and manners and we are some of them. God is good because we found another restaurant closed by and were served with decency. Very disappointed.
Had the service been better would have gave it a 5. I don’t appreciate feeling ignored or disrespected in an establishment I spend my hard earned money at. Somehow this place succeeds in both. How you say? Well to start me and my friend had ordered our food and drinks before a table of five arrived a few minutes later and were seated next to us, but some how they received their drinks and food ( at least 30 min before our order) arrived, besides being mildly upset about this the food and atmosphere with the lake view was incredible. I’m not discouraging you from going may have just been a mix up for me other than that good place to eat and the have a park for the kids to play at.
Came here for lunch with a coworker and enjoyed our food and the lakeside view. I had a spicy shrimp Cuban sandwich which is served with a Pickle spear and Ridge style potato chips. My sandwich was good, but a little to saucy which made the bread slide off. The spicy sauce could have been more spicy but was still tasty.
My husband and I enjoyed a nice lunch meal at Grills Lakeside Seafood Deck. I ordered the tile fish tacos and he ordered a burger. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs and probably the best fish tacos I’ve ever had. The pina colada was great too! I’d highly recommend this restaurant. If we weren’t on holidays I’d visit much more frequently.
Will never go back. Management is terrible and the male bartenders are entitled and disrespectful. Ruined my family members birthday/retirement/mothers day after close to $1000 spent. Not allowing people to order from the bar because elderly people are still sitting at a table is a bogus and revenue losing policy. We had every intention of spending more to celebrate and were instead met with snotty management snide remarks and total disrespect. I will make it a point to discourage anyone I know from ever visiting this establishment ( and Ive lived in Orlando my whole life) good luck Grills.
