Had no taste (very bland). Batter was so thick that you cannot taste anything but. I’m the end I had to peel the batter off and eat what meager protein was in it. Fries (not chips) very soggy.
The fish and chips are delicious!!! 10/10 I love the crispness fish. ????????????????????????????????????

i was excited to try out this place considering it’s owned by Gordon Ramsey but, unfortunately, i was a little disappointed. it’s a little pricey, but expected since it’s on International Drive. i had the Fish & Shrimp combo ($17.99) and a lemonade ($5.99). the fish and shrimp are good but quite oily and the shrimp had too much batter. the fries are thick-cut fries as expected with a classic fish & chips order. there’s a list of 6 different sauces of which you can choose 2 to accompany your meal- the Tartar is a classic, the Curry & Mango is really good, the Sriracha Aioli is spicy, and the Southwest Ranch is creamy. the lemonade was good and refreshing but i wouldn’t order it again at that price. the restaurant is fast food-style so there are a few high-top bar stool seats inside and outside along with a couple of tables. overall- it was okay, wouldn’t necessarily go again.
The name of a famous chef will carry a restaurant so far if the food is not up to par. Great location in the most happening section of International Drive, excellent for people watching but plan on keeping your stay short as the place is very small. The tables outside are an afterthought and almost in the way of passers-by. In a restaurant where almost everything on the menu is fried, overly greasy and oily food is a disadvantage. Worth checking out if one is a fan of the famed TV chef, just don't expect a great meal.
Great location. The fish was good once you get pass the grease. It's also very crispy, I ended up removing the bread and only eating the fish. The tarter sauce was good. The french fries could have been better, maybe offer potato wedges instead or add it to the menu. Great view if your sitting outside.
The location was great in Icon Park. We enjoyed sitting at the bar Stools facing the crowd. Good for people watching and music. I was a little disappointed in the fish and chips the batter was thick and a little too much. I had to remove a lot of it, greasy. The fries were okay, sauces were great. Biscotti shake was awesome! Chicken and chips were decent, nothing to brag about either. We would go back for the shake!!
Food: Cod was crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the outside. Fries and fish were fresh cooked to order. Sauces were AMAZING!(I love some good sauces lol)Service: 5 stars. The staff were super friendly. The women who took our order was very polite. The chef who gave us our ordered went over everything on our plates, told me where I could find everything and told us if we have any issues or questions to feel free to ask him. As we walked outside and went to sit down the table was still dirty(they were really busy) and another staff member quickly came up, apologized(even though there was no need to apologize, they were so busy and I think the people before us had just gotten up from the table) and quickly cleaned the table for us.We had a great time at Gordon’s fish and chips. We highly recommend!
Finally had a chance to try this place. Didn't want to go during open rush so waited a bit thinking they would have quality standards settled.Such expectations were not the case. It was a random Tuesday evening, they were not busy, so I now can only assume what I was given is the norm.First the good. The cod was tasty. Well cooked, not dry, good flavor. The chips were fine for what they were, but you're frying potatoes, I hope you can get this right.Otherwise, the rest was all bad. The batter was flavorless. Crispy to the touch but still too soft against the fish, as though they didn't dry the fish first. So one cut and the fish is sliding right out of the batter.I'm very sure Ramsay has ripped others for this very offense, so I give no pass or let no excuse for this quality. I will not return.
If you love fish & chips you have to come here! These were so good and every filet was crispy. Customer service was great too! I'd say if you're not super hungry or you want to leave room to eat other things nearby, the Fish Combo (3pcs) is enough for 2 people to share.
