Golden Corral is NOT what it used to be. Paid dinner price of 15.99 on Sunday at lunch time. Does not include a drink. Desserts were very slim. Ice cream machine and cotton candy machine was broken. There used to be a Chocolate fountain. Salad bar was very basic. No croutons, bacon bits, or sun flower seeds. Basically only tomatoes and cucumbers and cheese.Rolls were not warm and fresh. I haven’t been there in years and I won’t be back. Tons of other delicious fresh food places to go to instead. Disappointing!
Why anyone would come dine here is beyond me. The dinner buffet was $16. The food makes college cafeteria food look like gourmet fine dining. Everything is bland, the pizza tastes like plastic, the variety is poor, and the dessert is sugary overload. This place has no redeeming qualities. Go eat at McDonald’s instead.
We always go for lunch a few minutes after they open. This is when we noticed the the food is really fresh and hot. We are not saying other time are not good, we just prefer to arrive close to opening. Besides that lunch is a lot less expensive than dinner. We spend less than $20 for two meals and drinks not including the tip for waitress.
Amazing work by Lisa. She was wonderful, she made our stay amazing and we enjoyed the food even more with her assisting us. I am happy to visit here with my college friends and have a great social event. If you need a quick place to eat with affordable prices , come here!
For the price, it is OK, but do not expect to have a very tasty meal. They have considerably diminished their quality and selection vs before the pandemic. For an all you can eat buffet I would say it is acceptable if you are very hungry, but I would not return again.
The place never change. Very clean. They were constantly cleaning. They have disposable gloves at each food station. Just in case you want to use them. The food is great. For the amount of money. And all you can eat. You can't beat it. The kids loved it for the ice creams. And all the treats they have. Thank you for looking at my post. Some people may not agree with it. But when you have a big family this is the way to go. I haven't tried that breakfast yet they say is great. I'll have to try it one day
This has to be one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to. About 1/3 of the dishes were empty (at 7:00pm on a Friday). The place was only 1/2 full, so it wasn’t because they ran out. The food they did have was way over cooked and tasteless. The drinks were watered down. The soft serve ice cream was like half melted skim milk… My family and I are now worried that we are going to spend the evening taking turns in the bathroom.
What a disappointment!Our server Kat was awesome, but the food was not.I asked if there was more fried chicken available and was told twice that the chicken was on its way.After waiting, I asked a third person, she confirmed that it would be ten minutes before the chicken was ready.Not a problem but why couldn’t we have been told the truth to begin with.Just really disappointed, not sure I would recommend this one with so many other nice restaurants in the area.
I've gone here a few times since I've relocated to the area. This location is always on point when I go there. (3 times so far) the food is always fresh and the staff is always pleasant. I will continue to go there and enjoy lunch since it's roughly the same cost as a fast food restaurant but I can eat what I want lol. Prior to this visit. I brought my entire family there. I typically spend about 125.00 at a sit down restaurant and when we went to GC, we spent like 70 with drinks. I have kids so it wasn't the adult price but still.... kids can eat whatever and all at a better price than your typical sit down restaurant. Go and enjoy. It's worth it!
Will not repeat my visit. The plates they give u lacks cleanence. The food doesn't taste good except for the steak. The strak tastes good but everything else is horrible. Waffle House next door is way more better than this place people only come cause it's a cheap buffet.
