Very good. Not super experience.
It’s rare to see northern style Chinese bbq around these days so I was quite surprised when I found this place. The prices are a little towards the higher side, I spent about $100 for 2 people and didn’t get full. The service is also nonexistent and you have to grab everything yourself. I think it’s a family runned restaurant so they might be a little understaffed when it gets busy. Overall not bad, all the ingredients were high quality and the skewers were cooked to order.
Been looking for a place that serves northern-style skewers in Orlando for awhile and was delighted to find the food here to be just as delicious as what I had from the street stalls in Beijing! The garlic eggplant was absolutely drowned in garlic and delicious. Got the red bean shaved ice - pretty sure they melt the condensed milk into their shaved ice before it gets frozen - was super fluffy with the flavor spread evenly throughout.Place was clean and filled up with people later in the night. Walls aredecorated with a vast number of One Piece posters for reasons unknown but kudos on the collection.Will definitely return again soon.
Good: meat and tofu skewers, fairly authentic northeastern Chinese style.Bad: everything authentically bad you'd expect from a food cart on Dongbei streets. Sugar tomatoes tasted foul; narrow selection of meats and veggies; peanut edamame has no peanuts because they ran out (?!); chicken wings had skin burnt completely black although the meat inside tasted good; stupid rules with ordering (e.g. a minimum of 5 skewers each for certain items); bad service, gratuity included by default for our party of 5 and we were almost lead to double tip; the name of the restaurant is also a distasteful word play and a misnomer as it's not a sporty place
this is the best Chinese restaurant AND the best BBQ restaurant in Orlando. Cilantro and cumin are King! The skewers are fabulous, the corn is the best ever, the tofu skin is an explosion of flavor And the fruit yogurt is delish too.I would give it 6 stars if I could. That’s how delicious the food is. Yum yum yum!Ps: there are no sports here. Just delicious food and One Piece posters.
We thought we would give it a try. Will never go again. You have to order 5 skewers at a time, but it's not written on menu. If you order bread, you also have to order 5 skewers. Zero flexibility when ordering. There is not much meat on skewer for $1.99 each. Seems like server was making up rules as we were ordering. They use the same curry spice on almost everything they serve. Don't waste your money. There are many bbq choices.
Pretty good ?? Will definitely come back. Tasty food. Cool environs. A little rough around the edges, but pretty normal for anyone who's travelled to SEA. LOVE the One Piece decor!!
I would give it a 0 star if I could.Most importantly, the food there does not worth the price they asked for. Overpriced normal BBQ food at most.Multiple items were out especially the items that we were most craving for :/Sauce was put on only one side of the food, nothing on the other side, like, NOTHING! It’s like the chef didn’t bother turning around the food for a layer of sauce. Or, it is money-saving to put sauce on only one side? Nice try.Staff didn’t bother wearing masks either. We were there in Jan 2022, when the COVID cases were drastically increasing everyday.
The food was great, very authentic. But their service was a mass, no one told us where to get a number to wait for a table when we came in, and no one said hi to us even after waiting for half an hour. They couldn’t remember which dish had been served and which one hadn’t, came to tell us a dish they didn’t serve to our table had been brought to us.
spend 3 hours there. One hour to wait for a seat, one and half hours for food and half hour to eat. Bbq is too slow. Taste above normal but the price is also above normal.
