Ordered a carryout order today from this Gators Dockside and I got 2 winger dinners. Both winger dinners had pretty much no sauce on them at all and the wingers were half the size they normally are. I called the manager to let him know and he said I could come back up and get new ones and I asked for a refund because I don't live close and when I did he insisted that I bring the wingers so he could take a look at them. which is understandable so I did. Went back up to Gators which he told me they would be ready in 15 minutes, which it takes me 20 minutes to get there and when I got there they were not ready I had to wait another 10 minutes before the manager would come see me. When he came out with the food he said he would trade me didn't even look at the wingers and told me he would refund me and tried to send me out the door. I asked him for the receipt for the refund and he seemed annoyed and started asking me questions, such as my name and phone number, so he could give me a refund... I don't understand how he would refund me if he didn't even remember my name. Another note I had to wait another 10 minutes because when he took the wingers I bought back and didn't look in the togo box he threw away my onion pedals so I had to wait to get some more. I believe West was the managers name and hopefully next time the management here has a more professional approach and is not so challenging towards the customer. I gave the review a 2 star because after it was fixed the food was great and the front door host was wonderful.
Food is good enough. Service is reliably slow and inoffensive, has been for the last decade, including at my last visit where they forgot the chicken in a chicken Caesar salad. Prices are fine. The new beignets are pretty good. I recommend the chicken (wings, tenders). 3.75/5
I went to Gator’s Dockside a few months ago and then again tonight. The vibe, the atmosphere and the menu was completely changed for the better. It was good before but it is excellent now. My server Morgan was funny, courteous, and friendly and another server Lydia went out of her way to seat me because the front was very busy. 10 out 5 would recommend.
Fun place, Wednesday night trivia and all you can eat boneless wings. Wings were great, solid chunks of white meat lightly breaded and coated with one of their amazing sauces. Last set was the hottest they have and tasty good. Good assortment of comfort food, beer and more. Friend had a salad that looked good.
Best service in Orlando and great seafood and an awesome place to hang out with friends! Sports bar and I’ve been coming here for 5 years on and off and all servers are super friendly and inviting!
I have come here for years to have the fried shrimp dinner - it used to be a family favorite golden brown crispy fried. Now along with a new menu they changed the batter confirmed by the waiter its a cheaper light batter which gives them a soggy greasy taste. Unfortunate- the broccoli is dry now not sure if they cut back due to inflation but lower quality now unfortunately. We used to love this place family friendly with best fried shrimp and scooter wings in town. They have changed dramatically..
We were seated promptly and the staff was friendly. Super clean and the food was amazing. My daughter had the mahi-mahi Caesar salad and I ordered gator tail (for both) and wings. It has been quite some time since we have been here but we are definitely going to come more often. I can’t believe it’s been so long. The honey garlic wings were awesome! The gator tail was superb!
We know there are ongoing global supply chain challenges as a result of COVID. We've seen the results of it from nearly all restaurants we order from, many other industries understandably included. What we haven't seen is the extent of which this establishment has seemingly taken advantage of that. We understand smaller portions and still increasing prices within this industry, it can't be helped. The last three delivery orders have amounted to less than a third of the pre COVID portion (I'm being generous) and also degradation in quality. IE: Semi raw fries, half rib racks amounting to about six bites, missing side items, etc. Very sad to experience a good restaurant decline in this manner. We look forward, hopefully, to better reviews indicating better quality in the future.
This was our first time for free bingo on Thursday nights. Great time, Great Food and our waiter Dave was excellent!
Four words... Gracie is the bomb!!! She was such a help for us with all you can eat wings! Not only was the food good, but the service was top tier! If you have Gracie, you will have a good time. That girl deserves a raise! I will definitely make this a weekly routine!
