Visiting from out of town on vacation. I searched for restaurants specifically ones we did not have up in the midwest where we live. This one came up and had items that sounded great to try out! The drive was nice and the area was easy to get around and view very beautiful. Thought maybe it was not busy because it was a weekday so I imagine they may be more busy at night and weekends. The service was decent. The main waitress was Rileigh and she was very polite. There was another one that also drifted by. By decent she took the order, everything was received, refills were received, everything that should be done....however not the wow service. I had two daughters that were prior waitress plus I was prior too so I know this is probably how I would be as well sometimes but to get the extra higher tip you have to be extra bubbly, what I call the waitress voice that you pretend you are happy lol. But as I mention the service was decent good. The lower score is due to the food. The smothered cheesy chicken.....you would expect to be smothered cheese that is like melted and running off, however it was a paste instead. Daughter did not end up liking it unfortunately as wanting the mouth watering melted cheese. The Gators Nachos looks like it just drizzled some of the sauce barely there. Jalapenos were like a small pile. We had tons of chips with not enough cheese/etc to go with the chips. I don't recall the waitress telling my husband sauteed onions on his burger was additional fee so fyi if you get that. The fish and chips for decent. To be honest we just went to Harry Potter and Universal and had their fish and chips which actually had more fish than this plate. The wingers special were basically chicken fingers that were dipped. If you look at the picture you can see where it was not even dipped all the way. So for nachos, 3 drinks, asiago bagel, build your own burger, fish chips, wingers special and smothered cheezy chicken ...came to $84.43 before the tip. For the price, if the food was spot on with those changes than it would be well worth a higher score!
I want to personally thank the staff, manager, and general manager for hosting my promotion event this past Saturday. The rain moved us indoors and they allowed me to have my ceremony indoors. The staff and food were top notch. Everyone enjoyed themselves. It was perfect. Thanks again.
Enjoyed a nice little family lunch, had the house salad with blackened Mahi Mahi. The salad was good but the Mahi was on the small side.
Great food, top-notch service, welcoming atmosphere, and a patio area with plenty of shade, fans, and a nice view of Lake Baldwin. The Monte Cristo is downright decadent, but they also have a lot in the way of more calorie-conscious offerings. I love the sandwiches and the variety of wings, but I'm also a fan of their soups and sides. The veggie medley has a lot more variety than most places, and the chili is one of my favorites!
Great food, terrible service. We were here for lunch and when I asked my server what kind of beers were on tap she just handed me a laminated card and took the order. After she got us the food did not came to check up on us until the end when I wanted to get the check. Her name is Miriam H and she was Terrible.
I must say that I am a huge fan of Gator’s Dockside and have visited many of their locations, but the Baldwin Park one really disappointed me. Got there on a Friday night, 7pm, and it was empty. Empty as in 15-20 empty tables. I was told there was a 30 minute wait, and I accepted to be put on a waitlist. I saw servers walking around, chatting, laughing, doing nothing… ok, whatever. We were seated 35 minutes later and our server took our order right away. We ordered a wrap and the half chicken & ribs combo. 10 minutes after she leaves with the order, she comes back and tells us that they ran out of chicken. We change that order, and 5 minutes later she comes and tells us that they ALSO don’t have the tortillas for the wrap. At this point we just thanked her and decided to leave. Over an hour waiting for food and left hungrier than before.
Really nice sports bar and a little more in busy Baldwin Park. Great bar food, nice atmosphere, and friendly attentive servers. A large, picturesque, dog friendly outdoor seating area with plenty to look at as my dog Buddy will attest to.
We used to get almost exclusively poor service at through the years at the now closed Dr. Phillips location and okay service in SODO.This location has been pretty good thus far. It’s under $10 for a pitcher of Bud Light (I don’t recall if it’s $8 or $9). The burgers have been okay and you can never go wrong on the all you can eat wing night. However, wing prices have risen exponentially in the last few years. If you want tenders, you are better off getting the chicken zingers at Ale House. The ambiance is to be expected from a large, clean sports bar. It is baby and family friendly.Alex, a server, was so kind to us on a previous visit. She was personable and really made our experience better. Our conversation with her was a major highlight of all of our times dining at Gators.
Great atmosphere and view from the porch. It was a nice relaxing lunch and the fish and chips were delicious.
I do not recommend it. I went today with my family, 4 adults (1 of them pregnant) 2 children and our pet. The host told me that she did not have tables outside for so many people, that is, she did not even try to tell us that she could join 2 or 3 more chairs?…. February 27,2022. 5:30
