I'm definitely giving this place a solid 5 starts. This was my first time at First Watch and it did not disappoint! Their concept is very similar to Keke's and it is just as good. This specific location is in Dr. Phillips @Plaza Venezia, it it was a good 20 minute drive for me. The staff was GREAT. Our server was very attentive and customer driven, always checking on us every few minutes. I had the Shrimp and Grits and it was fantastic. Perfect ration of savory sausage and delicious grilled shrimp over cheese grits...I will definitely have this again (soon), since its only a seasonal menu item. My Son had the chorizo sunrise sandwich and said it was excellent. Overall, it was a great meal experience and will definitely come back. Hint - It is a very busy location and it's always packed, so try the online check in!
I’m conflicted. If you like fresh, high quality ingredients at a very reasonable price, this place can’t be beat. That’s probably why it is packed to the gills. However, my complaints are numerous.-There was a chip in my mother’s orange juice glass that very easily could have cut her lip.-There were no artificial sweetener options but Stevia, which I find tastes absolutely horrible to me.-My wife ordered a fruit bowl that came out as 90% grapes. No real variety of fruit. No pineapple. No cantaloupe.-My mom ordered her eggs over-medium and was served eggs that were obviously overcooked at even the slightest glance. I’ve included a picture of them.-I didn’t much care for my hash skillet. The individual components of it were tasty, but they did not cohere into anything special. They seemed wasted on a dish that didn’t allow any of them to reach their full vibrancy. Where was the love? The waiter was attentive and seemed likable, even as we complained. The bread was really delicious. And as I stated earlier, all of the ingredients seem excellent. But are they being treated excellently? My answer: no.
Worth a visit since not many good breakfast spots in Orlando
First time in this place. We were about 35min in the waiting line which is understandable for a weekend. When seating our server granted us with a huge smile and a cup of coffee ? (later on when the bill came, surprise!!! $3 dollars extra) and recommended us a few things from the menu. When the food arrived the “food runner” was very inappropriate. The old women not even look at us in the eyes. She just dropped the plates and left. Not even making sure that our order was okay. The server also never came to check up on us and just appeared afterwards to gave us the bill. Despite everything food was delicious and place is great for brunch!!!
Had a delicious breakfast. The avocado was so fresh. We really enjoyed the foodSamantha was awesome!
Fantastic! Avocado in toast was super thick and creamy. Banana pancake was so delicious and full of Banana slices 10/10. Service was fast and friendly.
We went for breakfast. Prices are reasonable. Portions are good. Everything is fresh. My omelette was great, perfectly done. My wife’s breakfast was overdone, to the point of burnt. She enjoyed what she ate. We will give them another try, it wasn’t a train wreck.
This breakfast was delicious!! The place was super clean and all staff were super friendly! We made a reservation and we’re sat right away. Our food also came super quick! Everything was bomb! We recommend the million dollar bacon, seasoned potatoes, avocado toast with eggs, Belgian waffle, breakfast tacos, French toast and the ricotta lemon curd strawberry pancakes to end your meal! We loved this meal and will be back very soon! -The Gendron Family
We came to First Watch in 2019, not this one but found it a bit overpriced and the breakfast was not all that good. We had lunch this time and was pleased to report it was good, glad we decided to give it another go. Still not cheap but we enjoyed it. Soup and a sandwich combo is great value.
First time here and my food was amazing!!The wait time was ok, like 5min for party of 2.We ordered coffee, the have creamers on demand (half and half, oat milk and hazelnut). A bit hungover and ordered the Pineapple Express Juice with a boost of vitaminsOrdered the Spring dish "Chorizo Sandwich" , chorizo patty, egg, cheese avocado and pico de gallo. My sister ordered Benedict Salmon and Egg (la hollandaise sauce was a bit stale but with a little salt all good). For cheating on my classic Denny's breakfast I feel good, reached my expectations"
