This place was great! We have eaten at other locations before but never this one. We came out for Fathers Day Brunch and everyone was awesome. The host, server and people who brought our food were all very nice and attentive. They gave us no grief for needing two high chairs for my twins. We will definitely come back. The food was delicious!
Although I’ve eaten at First Watch many times, this was my first time at the location on Mills. First, the staff was great beautiful people including my server. However, when I ordered my drink, Morning Mediation, which is the only thing I drink at First Watch, I immediately noticed something was wrong. The drink tasted off and I felt a warm sensation in both my chest and stomach. I don’t drink, but I have tasted alcohol in the past so I know what it tastes like. I asked for my server and explained that I think they gave me the wrong drink and that I believe it contained alcohol. She went to the kitchen to inquire and they assured her that it didn’t contain alcohol, however they were now mysteriously out of Morning Mediation. Now due to the fact that I am on medication that interacts with alcohol, I was dining alone, and that I just don’t like alcohol, that was a problem for me. Nevertheless, my server was lovely the atmosphere was nice and I continue on with my meal. After receiving my food, I noticed that my pancake was undercooked. I hate sending food back, but my server noticed my facial expression and asked what was wrong. I showed her the undercooked pancake she immediately apologized and offered to get me another, so I stayed enjoying my book and waited for another pancake. After a while, she did bring another pancake perfectly cooked, however, they did not offer to replace the cold dry bacon still sitting on my plate until I asked.Overall, I will probably eat at First Watch again since I’ve had great experiences in the past just probably not this location. I finished eating, paid for my food, and tipped my server. The employees were great, very welcoming I’m just not sure what’s going on in the kitchen.
Not impressed. Three servers passed by and promised to be right back. A fourth server actually showed up about 10 minutes later. They didn’t look that busy. I had eggs scrambled with bacon, artisan to
Our boss takes us here almost once every month and we usually arrive when they first open, so we're seated quickly and don't have to wait long for anything. I've personally always enjoyed what I've ordered and the servers have always been sweet to us.I've ordered:Morning Meditation (Orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar and beet) and it was a refreshing drink.Smoked Salmon and Roasted Vegetable Frittata (A classic frittata with Wild Alaska Smoked Sockeye Salmon, house-roasted shallots and tomatoes topped with Parmesan cheese, a chive cream drizzle and fresh herbs. Served with ciabatta toast and lemon-dressed organic mixed greens) which is loaded with protein, but they do ask if you'd like breakfast potatoes if the mixed greens aren't your jam.Million Dollar Bacon (Four slices of their signature hardwood smoked bacon baked with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and a maple syrup drizzle) and it would probably fit the name better if they were thick slices.Superseed Protein Pancakes (Flax, hemp, kasha, pepitas and sunflower seeds added to our multigrain pancake batter. Served as three mid-sized pancakes topped with fresh, sliced bananas, blueberries, maple-almond butter, vanilla Greek yogurt and superseed crunch. Served with warm mixed berry compote) which the photo online looks like they topped it with seeds but mine did not look like that at all. But still yummy!Today, my co-worker ordered the Crab Cake Benedict and I don't think the cook knows how to poach an egg since they were pretty slimey and undercooked (an egg yolk literally slid out and off the plate onto the table). So I told our server and she had another plate made. Unfortunately, same slimey consistency the second time, too. Safe to say, we'll be passing on that in the future, which is a shame because the crab cake was tasty.
Delicious.. everything was made perfectly and tasted rich. Went a second time really enjoying this place for breakfast.
I have eaten at a ton of First Watch restaurants. My husband and I enjoy the friendly staff and the consistent good food that comes out of the kitchen. This particular location today missed the mark big time. Our server was just as pleasant as any other location but that is where the good review ends. The food was a mess. From watching other tables almost everything that came out of that kitchen either went half uneaten or was sent back to the kitchen. My first Florentine Eggs Benedict showed up as two hard boiled eggs my second were flat and basically raw. If you can’t poach an egg maybe you are in the wrong profession. My husband’s pancake only filled half the plate which reminded us of a children’s portion not the size we normally have. He ordered a blueberry one and was presented chocolate chip. We ended up eating in shifts one at a time due to the need to send things back. At check out I was asked if we enjoyed our experience. I shared my frustration and was told by the gentleman at the register that he knew their kitchen was inadequate. Nothing was mentioned as far as compensation or anything regarding the fact that our dining experience took almost two hours and that was not an enjoyable two hours. While I look forward to returning to First Watch again I will think twice before returning to this location. I know restaurants are struggling but perhaps limiting your menu to what your chefs know how to cook or close until you have decent staff would be better than serving mediocre food.
Great delicious and portions of food and drink. Great ambiance, clean and fresh restrooms. Fantastic location. Super staff, hostess, waitress Service was excellent and prompt professional
Very little time in line and great service once seated. Having Gluten free options, was really nice. I had the bacon, eggs and potatoes, while my husband got a Breakfast sandwich!
This was my first time there. I purchased the breakfast tacos. They tasted great. 5 stars for those. But I felt we waited way too long for the food to arrive. Other customers received their food prior by at least 5 minutes. The coffee needs improvement. My wife has been there, and Said it was not like that, so I'm not sure what took so long that day. I'm extremely impressed, but I think I'd go back to give the food delivery time another chance.
Went there 2 days in a row while vacationing in Orlando. Best breakfast I ever had. Both times were delicious. The juices were amazing. If I lived there I would be there every weekend. I would give this place 10 stars at least.
