As someone who used to work at firehouse in high school, this store has no idea how to properly make them. They don't fluff their meat, all you get when you bite into the sub is dense meat chunks. Bread was stale too. Firehouse will always have fresh meats and ingredients, but this store does not understand how to use them.
I arrived with nobody ahead of me, yet they took forever to prepare my order The workers appear to be bothered while taking your order. The vibe all together was not welcoming at all, nothing like the amazing service from the firehouse subs in Texas.
Very nice and professional staff. Very good food, better Sunday than Subway. But unfortunately very slow. Subway still wins on speed getting your sub prepared and served within minutes. Took about 10 to get my sub prepared and served at Firehouse. Tasty though.
My two first orders from here were absolutely less than stellar. On my first visit, two employees were obviously training, which was perfectly fine as their manager was assisting them behind them. However, when I walked in to place my order, the girl behind the register, who was wearing a political shirt to work for some reason, glared at me for a solid ten seconds without moving before finally starting to input my order. She continued to glare at me throughout my entire order and while calling my name to retrieve it several minutes later. I then watched her interact perfectly fine with every other customer after me--at the very least, the sandwich was fine. The next time I went to this location, I placed an extremely simple order of a cheese and mayonnaise sandwich. By some miracle, the two other employees who were also very obviously training managed to forget one of those two ingredients. I could then hear them whispering about how they forgot one, as well. The entire time my order was placed that second time, the employees more or less refused to make eye contact with me and went out of their way to do so. I'm not sure why every time I walk into this Firehouse the employees won't so much as look at me, and as a retail worker myself I can understand trying to get through your shift or having a bad day, but this is a consistent issue. Not sure where the managers are getting their new hires from but I'm done with this location. I'll be going next door for Publix subs instead from now on.
The last two times I visited this location. I have and an awful experience. Recently My bread was burnt and the person who made my sandwich cuts my bread in two therefore with I picked up my sandwich every was falling out the other side. Andddd…..the guy forgot my pickle. I’ve been disappointed at this location time after time. I’m differently will not visit this location anytime soon.
Got a sub to go. There seems to be a lot of online orders as well as in person happening around lunch. Because of that, service can be a little slow at times, but that's okay. It's always good, and friendly staff.
I just wanted to take a moment to say this is my first time at fire house subs and I have lived here my entire life right next to this location. I haven't even tried the food yet but I have to tell you that my experience with Rachel would make me come back even if I didn't like what I ordered today. Customer service is so lacking these days so it was so refreshing to walk in the door and have someone be so friendly and make me feel like my order was the most important of the day! I wish everyone had a Rachel !
So disappointed with my first and only visit to this location. Placed an order in person at 11:36 today. Was told it would be 15-20 minutes. We waited 45 MINUTES for our food. Got home and realized they forgot the ham and bacon on my club on a sub sandwich. And I was missing the pickle spear on the side. I will never return.
Bad management. This location the sore owner does NOT participate in Firehouse promotions. We went to the Rio Pinar location today and was notified by their staff the promotions with coupons from corporate the owner of this location chooses not to participate. This is very disappointing and we will not be back at this location and want to warn as many people about this locations bad business decisions. Horrible!
Walked in the doors at 8:31pm and scrawny guy with glasses stated he wanted to go home by 9 so he refused to take my order. Horrible service, I work retail and never treated someone this horrible.
