I had an intense pregnancy craving for firehouse and let me tell you the hook and ladder sub was magical. To the guy who made my sub around 4:50pm on 6/22 I have never in my life eaten a better sub. Straight up, that sub was quite possibly better then the baby making that gave me these cravings. I will be back often as long as the man who made my original sandwich is working. I wish I got his name to give him a shout out.
I love their hot sandwiches! The New York Steamer (without the oil and dressing) and the Pastrami are my all time favorites here. I'm always ordering one of those two.The service is always great too, I've never had to complain about anything. This time I ordered everything on the APP and it was waiting for me when I walked in, freshly made. 5 stars for great service and great food ?

I have been ordering the same wheat sub for over a decade now, it's one of my very favorites. However tonight when I got home (ordered to go), the wheat bread was completely different. It was a stale dense dinner roll-like texture and it was very disappointing!! The bread is one of the key components to creating a good sandwich. I've never ordered from this location before so I'm hoping maybe it was just their location and Firehouse hasn't changed their wheat bread in all locations.
