We were seated quickly. The restaurant was full and appeared to be short staffed. Nothing unique after the Pandemic. The servers got confused and and I had to call one of them to tell them we were forgotten. Juanjo took our order. He was very friendly and apologetic.We ordered what we always order when we come here the 4 meat Molcajete for 2. It’s beef, chicken, shrimp, and chorizo. It also comes with peppers, onions, melted cheese and strips of young cactus leaves. It’s served with rice, beans, sour cream, pico de gallo, and guacamole. You can choose either flour or corn tortillas. We were not disappointed. It was delicious like always. We took some home and eat it the next day for diner. I highly recommend this place. I gave 4 stars because the place was very warm. I think the a/c was broken. Juanjo gave us the drinks for free because of the wait.
Good authentic tacos $2.49 chicken is the best. Dinner meals are also available.

Not The same! Came here after not working on this side of town for theee years and it’s changed. If you don’t speak Spanish be prepared for horrible service. There was a table of about 12 men that were all Hispanic who came in 29 mins after me and my dad ordered they got their food before us. Half the table! When I tried to make eye contact with the waitress she looked over me and went to the kitchen window. I know she did that because the people at that table heard me say that’s not right that they sat down and got their food before us . When I told her my dad didn’t eat cheese she said you didn’t tell me I said cheese orange listed for the vegetarian option most vegetarians don’t eat cheese. Then she’s like that’s what quesadilla means. I told her I said my dad didn’t want dairy. The food was not good like how it was in the past I wouldn’t recommend it. My pops loved the food after they remade it but it’s done for me.Really dissatisfied with the food and the service I received. I will not be back!
I would normally recommend el Tenampa restaurant to anyone since I been going there for years, and the food and friendly service is always been excellent. Today was the exception, we got there just around 2pm, we asked for the lunch menu which the waitress replied “the prices on the menu were all the same”. The food was good, the service was awful. I can’t understand why the bill came to almost $40 not including the tip; for a burrito, quesadilla and 2 soft drinks? Maybe because I was charged for the dinner menu, who knows? ?
Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Everything is authentic and delicious. When I visit again, I will definitely be stopping here!
In disagreement with the food, I did not like it, but the but it was when the Manager spoke to us rudely, he disrespectfully pushed the waitress, we were not asking for a price discount, just my feedback on the food. The attention of the Manager was very bad.
Fantastic Mexican food, and plenty of it! Stopped in for lunch and ordered the fajitas. It was hot and tasty, and more than I could eat!!
We were looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant while in Orlando. Found this restaurant based on the previous reviews, and we loved it!!!! Everything from the chips and salsa, to the margaritas, to the main course, to the dessert was wonderful!!! Our waitress was very kind and attentive Service was top notch!!. I have to say El Tenampa is one of the best Mexican restaurants our family has ever eaten at! Delicious!!!!
