I had some time for a quick bite before the Miss America for Florida Pageant this weekend. I went to Drafts and ate a salad at the bar. Denise was delightful. Very attentive and cheerful. The salad came out very quickly, which I appreciated, and was very fresh and tasty. I know this was a small experience, but it was a good one. Thank you!
Very clean and well decorated sports bar / restaurant. Seems like a cool place to watch a game and hang out with friends. I had the Asian Wings which were pretty good not too much heat but good flavor. A member of my party had the Philly which looked really good. Only downfall would have to be the service. The restaurant was less than half full and our service was slow.
If i can give no stars I would. Denise at the bar is very rude and this is the third time we have had issues with her. The first time she told us she couldn’t understand my accent and she didn’t understand my order and said to another person at the bar “ these damn Chinese” while we were waiting on our food. Second time I was horrified when i saw her at the bar again and decided it was best to not even order food and just one drink because i don’t know what she’s capable of. Yea the Third time she didn’t even service us and ignored us. Well we are never coming back again.
Food was ok. Got the ribs. (full rack) Most places I go in "NC", usually remove the membrane from the ribs before cooking. This was not done on the ribs I ate. I couldn't enjoy my ribs because, of that.The meat was good but, the fat was showing.The "Sidewinder Fries" were good and our server was very pleasant."Whomever cooks the ribs, needs to remove the membrane first before smoking them".
Been twice while staying a Westgate Lakes 1 bar staff 3 servers wait 30mins for table nobody turns up to take order wait another 30 mins server asked about drinks 20 mins to get them, then wait another15 mins and walk out ! this has happened twice and talked to other guests and 12 walk out as lack of service worst restaurant in Orlando don’t use they are clueless ?
I sat at the bar and never have I received such bad service. I would NEVER RENT BUY A TIME SHARE based on the service and lack of proffecionalism I received By DENISE at the bar. Thanks to her ,she made my decision not to buy.. Do yourself a favor. BASED ON THE SERVICE I RECEIVED. just go elsewhere.
Enjoyed a very good breakfast and service during our stay at Westgate this week. The pancakes were the size of a Frisbee but very good! My wife graciously shared so as to not waste. I had a really good hearty ❤ omelet. Nice atmosphere, good food and the waitresses were doing a fantastic job.
Edit:Went back for breakfast and updating to 4 stars. This was a much better experience. We were seated promptly. We did have to wait a bit on the waitress and it wasn't super busy but for our occasion we weren't in any hurry so it didn't bother us. The waitress was accommodating and friendly. The electricity went out while we were waiting on our food and that messed up our order in the system so we had to wait quite a bit for our food. We were not in any hurry however so this did not bother us in the slightest, we were able to leisurely drink our morning coffee and chit chat. The waitress took some off of our bill to compensate us for the long wait, however. The food was VERY good. We got breakfast pizzas and a side of breakfast potatoes. I highly recommend getting the breakfast potatoes, they were very flavorful. The breakfast pizzas were really good too! The coffee is hot and good flavor. All in all a nice experience even with the wait.It took about 10 minutes to be seated, there was no sign of a host anywhere so we went and asked the lady behind the bar and she told us just to wait. However, after this the staff were all friendly and accommodating. The food is a little pricey but you get really big portions and all of it tasted pretty good. There are no physical menus, you have to scan a QR code to see the menu and the item I ordered they no longer have so I had to order something different that also wasn't on the menu, but the waitress told me about it when I couldn't order my original item. She told us the menu needed updated. This seems typical for anything to do with Westgate as things on their websites are never updated. All in all, I would say everything was just okay. The food was good but not great, the service was okay but not great. I honestly wouldn't go back unless it is to try their breakfast.
We had a wonderful late lunch at Drafts Sports Bar & Grill. I was a little hesitant to go after reading some reviews but we figured we would give it a whirl. We went during off-hours so the bartender was also our waitress. She was very pleasant and attentive. My husband and I both had the hamburger and thought it was delicious. The fries were great too. My daughter had the boneless buffalo tenders - she ordered the regular size - but they were huge so we could have gone with the children's menu size.There are lots of tv's featuring various sporting events/news There is also an outdoor seating area that looked nice.
