Domu has a big reputation to uphold and does so with ease. We got the wings as an appetizer and they were extremely crunchy. The sauce was very good, not too salty nor sweet. The ramen itself was quite nice. The broth was not too salty and was very flavorful. The noodles were very tender and springy.Atmosphere and service is top notch. They provide hot hand towels to clean your hands before eating. Our wings also came with ample napkins and hand wipes to clean up our hands before the ramen came. Extremely friendly staffOverall a great experience.
This place is awesome! Great drinks, full bar. Great service! Make sure to either get there early, or prepared to wait. They are always full, but you can wait at the bar and enjoy some drinks. We had appetizers and the best Ramen I have ever had. It’s located in the East Side Market plaza, you can walk around and enjoy the neighborhood after dinner. If you seat inside, you’d be able to see the kitchen and the art on the walls.
The food and drinks are amazing! The wait is ridiculous, though. I don’t remember if we had a reservation or if we were just able to miraculously get in, but we had some drinks at the bar before being seated. There were some games for us to keep us entertained while we waited for our table. I asked myself, “how good can ramen be?” and I found out that it could really be amazing! I had the one with Uni. Best thing I ate all year.I highly recommended arriving early and getting on the wait list in advance! It is worth it!
Got here on Sat, 5/28 before they opened and there was a line. Thankfully we endured only a short wait. Tasty drinks. I was worried I wouldn't like the "Down the Rabbit Hole," but it was delicious too. Surprised we snagged some Happy Hour drinks on a Saturday!! Ramen was delicious with a big portion. Next time I will get the wings because it seemed to be so popular. The ambiance was lacking as the table next to us had a leak from the ceiling, I heard the server advise he could only seat them outside if they didn't want to sit there. At the end of my meal, I too got dripped on. It was startling and annoying when chairs of other patrons screeched (think loud nails on chalkboard sound)when getting up. Much of the time it was too loud. Hard to converse and enjoy the meal with my boyfriend.
Worth the wait! The wings are an absolute MUST! If you want a safe ramen choice, get the Richie Rich (pictured). The soft serve was ube and it was delicious! Everything pictured was a 10/10. They're busy for a reason!
Delicious ramen spot! Definitely on the pricier side. The appetizers were great - wings were crispy, cucumbers fresh palate cleanser, bun had tender pork, shishoto peppers yummy. The mild curry still has a little spice kick if your tolerance is low but has good flavor. Drinks were a hit too. The ice cream was the only meh thing, it was very Wendy’s frosty-esk in terms of texture and flavor. Not sure if it’s usually like this but when we went for dinner, the music was so loud you couldn’t really hear people you were trying to talk to at your table. Try this place out if you can!
Loved this place! My family and I went on Sunday during their brunch hours so there was a limited menu, but still lots to choose from. We got there right when it opened so there was no wait, but there was a long line already 10 minutes in! Our server was great, food was delicious, and we left feeling satisfied. I also loved how clean and open this area is. I will definitely be returning soon!
Went for my birthday, the food was just as good as I had heard it was. We arrived slightly before they opened and we were sat within the first few minutes, even with multiple parties in line ahead of us. Meadow was our server and she was super sweet when she played along as my dinner partner pretended to order a "surprise" birthday dessert. We tried many of the menu items, best being the "pigs in a blanket" bun, 10/10!
First of all I have to say I HATE CHICKEN WINGS. They are too much work for so little pay out. Plus they usually are slimy and have a bad flavor. HOWEVER, my husband ordered them Sunday for an appetizer and I tried them as I was extremely hungry. They were SO tasty! They flavor was devine and the texture and crunch were on point. I am literally sad we live in Missouri and I can't have them again any time soon.We had Ramen and the both was pleasantly flavorful and I would get it again but those wings.... I will dream about them.
This was the BEST ramen my husband and I have ever had. We both had the Tokyo bowl and our children had the Miso ramen with butter. It was so beautiful. The flavors of food meshed together so well. There was a boiled egg that had carmilzed brown sugar on top. Everything was hot, fresh and ready to made as you ordered it. The noodles were made in house and they were to die for. Domu is open till 2:30 pm they close and reopen for dinner at 5. They are 100% worth the wait. It's worth the drive for us to come back to Orlando to have another one of these amazing ramen bowls.
