We are regulars at the plant street kiosk. We love Mason who is so entertaining and knowledgeable about the products. The chocolate and macarons are phenomenal. On this occasion we bought some treats for a birthday party. There was an older blonde that helped us, didn’t get her name but the first thing we noticed was that she was rude to Mason who seemed to not be his usual happy go lucky self. She unfortunately was servicing us, and she was rude, curt and acted kinda ditzy. It’s unfortunate that she marred the overall experience- we’ll be back but hopefully Mason will be serving us.

My husband bring me this chocolates and omg I love it! I was surprise with the different fillings.

My husband surprised me on Valentines Day with macaroons and chocolate. So disappointed in macaroons because they were all hard and stale. I couldn't even bite into the key west flavored ones without worrying about a broken tooth. The other flavors were in various stages of stalleness. So disappionted because I love macaroons. Chocolates were delicious as usual but i do wish they matched the guide pictures so i wouldn't get ready to enjoy guanche and get friut.

I have some questions that hopefully the staff will answer about our visit...1. Are gloves required? The sweetest looking older woman was not wearing any during our visit as we watched her handle macaroons. The woman checking us out did wear her gloves the whole time, including when she handled my card, while touching the iPad, and when she returned to work.2. Do you use the exact same filling in your chocolate as your macaroons?3. What style of macarons do you serve? This was the first time we had ones brick hard and we're just not familiar with it. I've heard this can be caused by freezing but usually a quality shop charging as much as you wouldn't do such a thing.4. Why are all of your chocolates DARK chocolate? When purchasing pink or white chocolate we were expecting pink or white chocolate. It was very disappointing to find the strong dark chocolate in each peice.5. Not a question, more of a feedback. The cap on your chocolate really should be as thin as the rest of the shell. Yours was twice as thick or more, contributing to the overpowering dark chocolate.6. How long do you keep your red velvet cake cups? I've been used to moist red velvet cake and this tasted old or possibly once frozen? Even after letting this cup reach room temperature, the buttercream was chunky and unpleasant.

As Sous Chef at David Ramirez Chocolates, I can say it is my favorite place to work at. It is the best chocolate shop in central Florida; where everything is made by hand.

Manager nicole upcharged my cigar order by 100% without mentioning it. When I reached out to ask about the pricing , Nicole had nothing but aditute! Very unprofessional . Will not return
