The stir fried green beans paired with minced pork were delicious; we couldn’t get enough! They were wok fried so the outside was a little bit crispy while the inside maintained the tender juiciness. The beef tripe was the best we’ve ever had. We normally don’t have spicy foods but we kept on eating this until we broke a sweat. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked and the tender celery made everything come together. The traditional noodles reminded us of China with the cool sliced cucumber, sweet soy sauce minced pork and the egg noodles. Just the hotpot of the spicy chicken really disappointed us. It was way too expensive for the tough pieces of chicken and the overly poured red oil. Overall though, we always come here if we are looking for a taste of spicy china!
My friend found this place by visiting the photography store across the street. He and his family tried this restaurant once and recommended to me.We paid a visit 2 days later and I amSurprised the taste here is much better than most Szechuan flavors restaurants in Los angeles.enjoy the authentic Szechuan pepper&chili dishes!Highly recommended for authentic southwest Chinese———Szechuan food.
Where to begin? The authenticity of this Northern Chinese Cuisine was great! The CN11, Ground Pork with Bean Paste, was excellent with hand pulled noodles! We ordered the Pork and Chives Dumplings and the Vegetarian Dumplings. Both were hand made also! The Panfried Chives and Egg Pancake/Pockets were delicious and not burnt as they often are at other restaurants. The Pan Fried Pork Buns were nicely done and juicy! The Cumin Lamb and the Twice Cooked Pork were excellent as well! Five of us ordered seven dishes and had leftovers to take back to the hotel. The prices were so reasonable for real Northern Chinese food. I really wish we had a restaurant like this in the Chicago area!
Everything was amazing. Will return
We ordered alot of food and did not finish most of it. It looked great at first but all the food that came out was very average. The best thing we had there were the vegetable stir frys. Google said there were dim sum options but we did not see any dimsum on the menu. Big portions, spacious dining room, and okay prices. Staff was very nice and helpful but I've had better Sichuan food than this. I probably wouldn't go back to this place.
I have gone to this place a few times in the last 2 months to try the many different dishes. I went with a group of friends to celebrate a friend's birthday. The food was good and everyone liked it. They were super busy and it took a little while to get our checks, but this left us some time to talk and enjoy ourselves. By the time we payed and left it was already after closing. We all went to our cars and they were towed even though we were in the designating parking area. I really like this place, but I will not go to it again since this seems to happen regularly.
The place is very clean and the food was good and great prices. The only thing that was bad and we couldn't eat was the skewers, the had a lod of a spice, that I don't know if it was Ajinomoto or something like it and they where cover with it. Everything else was excellent.
The food is always incredible. I read some of these bad reviews in complete disbelief. We have never had a bad experience here. I had my birthday here tonight and the food was impeccable, even with such a large party. Seriously this place is delicious. Get the pan fried pork buns, literally any of the entrees, and omg the soup!!! Be ready to share!! This place is definitely family style. So good as always.
Very large portion suited well for sharing. We went with the family for my birthday. My shrimp/veggie dish smelled extremely strong, but I'm not sick so all is good. We also tried the shrimp lo mein, chicken fried rice, general tso, steamed rice, peppered chicken, and steamed meat bread. Overall atmosphere was decent, but the waitress refused to let me pack my leftovers.
Good dining experience based on indoor aesthetics and service, but the food was just ok. More specifically it was great to have a picture filled menu and cute robots. We ordered a few items including pea shoots, stuffed eggplant, chicken foot, shrimp dumplings, and chicken fried rice. The food was overall much too greasy.. and while we genuinely enjoyed the fried rice and dumplings (worth returning for) everything else was disappointing. Furthermore, although they do have bubble tea they completely lack a dessert menu.
